### 3/5 — Please add negotiations to contract and remove 80+ need to sign with a diffrent team

*2026-08-05, version 1.3.1*

This fricking pisses me off remove the need for 80 overall to sign with a diffrent team and add the ability to change the amount of time when you sign the contract and the not being able to sign with a diffrent team makes me mad because I won 3 mvps and my team can’t even make it to the semifinal because they suck

### 2/5 — Force sim

*2026-07-26, version 1.3.1*

Game is fun, but the force sim happens too often and at the most inconvenient times. It’s like the developers are forcing you to lose so you spend money to have a better team faster. Everything for a dollar though I guess.

### 4/5 — Interesting Idea for Update?

*2026-06-25*

I never leave reviews on games or apps and this is the one exception. This quickly became one of my favorite games. I play it all the time whether i’m at work or at home i’m playing it. I just have one suggestion. There were a lot of occasions where I lost an important game because of the AI Head Coach made a poor play call and it led to me not getting a field goal chance on a 4th down. I think it would be interesting to allow the player the option for what the team does on the 4th Down. Do they go for it, do they got for the FG, do they punt? I think it would make the game more fun. A joystick to control the QB when he runs or after a complete pass would be pretty interesting… GREAT GAME!

**Developer response:** Hi there! We appreciate this so much. Thanks for sharing your experience.

### 2/5 — Great Concept But Needs Work

*2026-06-18, version 1.3.1*

I’m in my players 7th season and damn the Ai is basically impossible to win against. I won 1 Super Bowl so far and every time I lose it’s because it’s out of my control my 94+ kicker misses a game winning PAT? My 95 RB fumbles the ball on the 4 yard line so they score and win? The one year I won was pretty much luck I got the ball back and was able to score where when there was no time remaining so the ai couldn’t cheese a 75+ yard passing TD. The progression system is a joke tbh you’re telling me I draft a 5 star WR and I have manually progressive him or else he will stay an 81? Player progression should not have to be bought and should just happen naturally like how the players regress. This game is fun and a great idea but there are a few things that make it brutal when actually trying to progress. I won a a couple of MVPs and when it was time to sign an extension the team that drafted me didn’t even offer me the most money. Which is ridiculous because I should be getting max money since I’m a 3x MVP and a Super Bowl champ. But what can you do but watch the ai be coded to beat you in the playoffs

### 3/5 — Player control

*2026-06-17*

Even if you put "all" in total control sometimes you dont even get to pick a play at all in the whole drive because it choses all runs just to go 3 and out... or i want to run it in the endzone with my qb yet my rb steals the td. Pleasee let "all" be actually all control!!!

**Developer response:** Hello! Thanks for the review. Sorry to hear you had difficulties. We’re continuously working to improve the overall experience.

### 4/5 — Fun but frustrating gameplay

*2026-06-17, version 1.3.1*

Game is very fun but it can sometimes be frustrating due to the “coach decisions”. you regularly get into situations late in games when the AI coach decides not to call timeouts or call the right play. I’ve run out of time while driving with timeouts in pocket and had the AI decide to punt on 4th and 1 from the 35 with 2:30 left in the game down 11. Fun game, but frustrating when the AI makes bad decisions outside of your control.

### 3/5 — Potential

*2026-06-03, version 1.3.0*

The game can be fun but it is so hard to progress as you need so many touchdowns to get small upgrades. It’s so impossible to get the goals and upgrades since your team is permanently trash if you don’t pay for stamina every off season

### 4/5 — Coach calling needs an upgrade but overall a great game.

*2026-05-30, version 1.3.0*

Having a coach call for a punt with 15 seconds left 4th and 1 in the Conference finals wouldn’t be ideal play calling if you asked me but hey, I’m a bills fan so I definitely don’t know good play calling. This game is awesome now they need one like this for baseball. Pitching and/or hitting I would be obsessed.

### 4/5 — Fun Game but Minor Tweaks Needed

*2026-05-16*

The game is a great way to kill time, great that it can be played offline. Super simple mechanics and team building atmosphere, but there are some things that could be worked on. The TOTY awards go to whoever is best at the position, regardless of stats. You can have the three worst receivers in the game with the best stats on the season, and nobody will make TOTY. Another thing, it never shows your actual age in the game, which is fine but it's unrealistic having a 25+ year career. The biggest thing I dislike is how you can't retire and make a theoretical HOF. lots of AI players should and would be in there too, and you should be able to take your qb and transfer him over to ultimate GM to be a coach. The salary's are odd too. Incentivizes you to go to the worst team for the biggest salary(which makes sense) but it also in turn incentivizes you to spend money to be able to make that team much better. (Understandable) There's workarounds for sure but it's odd that your current franchise always offers you the least amount to re-sign. I'm not harping on the incentivizations to get people to pay, because you can have a great game experience without paying a dime. But def should add the ability to retire before just quitting and starting a new game, fix the TOTY skew, have a HOF, and possibly be able to upload your qb to ultimate GM. Very good thing yall have going, fun games all around, but always room for improvements. I'd be interested to see a different position become available to play such as HB/WR/TE, or any other player position, but I understand that defeats the "ultimate QB" part of the game. Keep it up!

### 3/5 — Fun game, needs work

*2026-03-31, version 1.2.5*

Your player can be a multiple time MVP but be in the 70s overall. If you’re down by 7 points in crunch time, the play call will be as conservative as it gets. It seems like they want you to lose important games with crazy turnovers but get stats on the weaker opponents. All that being said, it’s a fun game but needs tweaking.

### 3/5 — Please change some things

*2026-03-16, version 1.2.5*

You start off with a horrible team and when your contract over you should not have to be over a 85 that’s bs to me you on a horrible team with no defense for 5 years and when you done you can’t even JOIN A NEW TEAM (LOVE THE HAME THO)

### 3/5 — Great design, paywall problem reality

*2026-03-13, version 1.2.5*

By sheer design and gameplay, this may be the most advanced and exciting of the Ultimate game series. It’s impressive and has loads of potential.

But the reality is that, even compared to the other games from the developer, this one is simply impossible to advance in without going premium. The offseason team moves are straightforward and simple, but you’re limited to the handful of player options at random positions, and you can’t see additional players without paying.

You’re ultimately stuck in a position where you can upgrade maybe a position or two an offseason, but the whole roster constantly is left with major holes. I’m several seasons in and am still stuck with a punter who has a 57 rating, and I’ve never had the opportunity to replace him or train him to improve him.

The game has SO much potential but unless some of the premium barriers are taken down, I don’t see myself putting much time into it.

### 2/5 — So much potential

*2026-03-02, version 1.2.5*

The game has a great foundation, however no matter how well you play in a season you barely progress your QB. Progression lacks extensively, if anything you can upgrade your teammates faster than your own player which doesnt make much sense. Gameplay is pretty decent, it feels closer to college with how horrendous your defense plays. The passes feel more like a cash grab than actually helping you do anything at all to improve your team/player

### 4/5 — Just one suggestion

*2026-02-28, version 1.2.5*

Games2rk if you ever see this, i just want you to know that i am well passed 100 seasons now in this game and i was wondering if there is an ending to the game and if not then i was wondering if yall would like to add some sort of hall of hame type of ending for our hard work and success throughout the years that we have played the game, it seems like that there is an infinite loop to the game, and i was just throwing out a little quick suggestion to end the loop. Thanks

### 2/5 — Fun gameplay but frustrating game AI and impossible to improve without paying.

*2026-02-25*

This has the potential to be a great game but beware it’s designed to make you pay to play. You don’t earn enough INF/XP in normal gameplay to even sustain your team never mind improve it. I have already spent over $100 in game and buy every weekly pass, but it’s never enough - my team always gets worse over time.
Then we get into game AI. It sets targets for each game but seems to conspire against you to stop you from achieving those targets - punting/kicking field goals on 4th and short no matter the score, kneeling when you need a few more yards to hit a target, a HB rushing TD when you need a passing TD, just simply taking you out of the game for extended periods of time. Give the player the option to choose what to do.
I love the gameplay in general but this is the most frustrating game I’ve ever experienced.

**Developer response:** Hello! We understand how this could be frustrating. Thanks for offering a solution - feedback like this helps us grow.

### 2/5 — Great idea, needs much work

*2026-02-11, version 1.2.5*

The game is engaging and addictive, but it feels as if it try’s to favor a pay2play style a little too much. A lot of key features are missing such as a few more college games, maybe falling in the draft, starting with a random team, negotiating a deal, having players upgrade OVR on their own, your GM drafting and signing good players on their own without motivation. If you don’t get a lot of motivation, your team will be terrible for atleast 10 years. The game is still fun, but it just feels as if so much is missing from the game to make it a truly fun game to play.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — I wanna love it but I just cant.

*2026-05-17*

This game has a lot of potential, but the progression system makes it difficult to fully enjoy. Most teams are rated between 85–95 overall, while your team starts around a 70 overall, creating a major competitive disadvantage. During the offseason, stamina is so limited that you can usually only acquire one or two players. While additional stamina can be earned by completing goals, those objectives are often extremely difficult to achieve without already having a competitive roster, which leaves players stuck with an underpowered team for multiple seasons. Player development is also frustratingly slow. Experience points are very difficult to earn, which severely limits how often players can be upgraded. Once a player reaches around an 85–86 overall, progression slows down even more, often allowing for only one upgrade per season. This makes it difficult to fully develop players before they begin to regress, which makes long-term team building feel unrewarding. The gameplay itself also feels unbalanced. The game suggests building a strong offensive line to create more time in the pocket, but even after doing so, there is still very little time to throw, likely because opposing teams are consistently rated much higher. Wide receivers rarely create separation, forcing players to rely on constant checkdowns or scrambling, which becomes repetitive and takes away from the overall experience.

### 1/5 — Coming soon maybe next year

*2026-05-15, version 1.2.5*

This game needs some serious updating. Think the developers gave up on it.

### 1/5 — Unbalanced

*2026-03-19, version 1.2.5*

Game is heavily rigged in the favor of the ai. No difficult settings when you first begin to actually learn the game, not being able to choose plays, and it taking you out for 1-4 downs on a possession or playing for 2 seconds on an entire drive is ridiculous. If I can’t even play with my own plays, at least give more control over the team.

Game constantly doesn’t pass the ball when I tap or hold and release. So I get sacked. Game is stupidly rigged, zero fun. Gave it several chances but I’d rather not have every single game be the equivalent of fighting prime Mike Tyson fresh out of prison while I’m a 3 year old.

### 1/5 — Avoid this game

*2026-03-15, version 1.2.5*

This scripting in this game is insane. If you’re looking for a game to casually enjoy, this is not it.

### 1/5 — Good game , but could Be way better

*2026-03-15, version 1.2.5*

It’s hard to complete game plan goals , mainly rushing tds bc when u get close enough to the red zone , you automatically run the ball with the rb , which I do not also like , because I have the game set on all plays . Good game , but I think yall could tweak it to make it better.

### 1/5 — Not as good as you’d hoped

*2026-02-06, version 1.2.5*

Talk about a game that want to purposely make you frustrated when you play it. The concept of the game was very appealing but once I started to play, I quickly realized that I have no control over my game play or game plan rather. My defense gets scored on 99% of the time. I have no control on a majority of offensive plays. Gameplay should not be controlled by the computer, I’d like to make my decisions on to run or go for it on 4th down. A suggestion is go play Retro Bowl & implement some of their options to make your game better.

### 1/5 — Fix end of half/end of game

*2026-01-27*

I’ll change my review to 5 starts once they fix the play calling at the end of the half/game. Why are they forcing me to go for it with 10 seconds left in the 2nd quarter when we could just kick a field goal? There’s no way to manage the clock in this game so no matter what I do on those 10 seconds if it’s not a touchdown it automatically goes to the 3rd quarter because for some reason the game loves to take 40 seconds to run a play. I can’t tell you how many games I’ve lost over us deciding to run a play when it makes no sense to not just take the field goal in the 2nd/4th quarter. Or the game just randomly deciding that every play I make when there’s only a few minutes left is going to take a minute off the clock. You need to account for timeouts, hurry up offenses and good coaching decisions.

**Developer response:** Thank you for taking the time to share such detailed feedback — we understand how frustrating that situation can be, especially when close games are decided by clock management and play-calling.

Your points about end-of-half and end-of-game decision-making, forced play calls, field goal logic, and how time runs off the clock are very helpful. Situations involving timeouts, hurry-up offenses, and smarter coaching decisions are important for a realistic experience, and we agree these moments should feel under the player’s control.

If you continue to experience specific issues or can provide examples (such as game situations or screenshots), we encourage you to contact our support team directly at support@2rk.games so we can look into it more closely.

We really appreciate you playing the game and giving constructive feedback — it helps us make meaningful improvements.

### 1/5 — I am one of the best fricking players but this game is stupid bro.

*2026-01-19, version 1.2.3*

I avg 110+ tds a season 1< ints and 12k yards but the fact i cant go for it on 4th and 1/2 loses me so many games bro like i could’ve won 3 back to back sbs in my first 3 seasons but i lost because we punted 3 yards every time in the first qtr on 4 and short add a go for it button🤦‍♂️

### 1/5 — This game is impossible don’t download unless you like losing

*2026-01-19, version 1.2.3*

Guaranteed first round exit no matter how high leveled or how good your stats are

### 1/5 — Feels like the 90’s

*2026-01-18, version 1.2.3*

Can’t do anything unless you pay. Only have an overhead view like John Madden 99 on Sega. Coaches suck when calling plays and timeouts. Playbook SUPER small. Literally only 6 plays at a time. Id rather pay once for a game, than just keep having to pay to improve….

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Very fun game

*2026-05-31, version 1.3.0*

I used to play the other games from this developer, but this is so much more fun since you can actually control the game.

One thing I’d like to see change: the play calling. Some of the play calls are atrocious and don’t make any sense (running a heavyset formation on 3rd and 15, for example). It would make sense to add an OC to the game, and the better the OC, the better plays you get drawn up.

I really dig this game tho, I hope there’s a version of this game coming for other sports too!!

### 5/5 — Amazing game

*2026-05-29, version 1.3.0*

It’s super fun

### 5/5 — Banger

*2026-05-09, version 1.2.5*

No more need to be said

### 5/5 — Add Options for 4th Down

*2026-05-07, version 1.2.5*

This is an amazing football sim game. Unlike some of your past works, I can’t complain about my players being bad because in this game I’m the one who has to get them the ball. However, the 4th down situations are very frustrating at times. In close games, the user can sometimes play the 4th down, but there are many times where it’s 4th and 1 and we punt or kick a field goal in the final minutes while down a big margin. Maybe we could have an option to go for it or kick/ punt?

### 5/5 — Could be better

*2026-03-27*

The AI somehow makes the worst decisions all the time, impossible to upgrade without spending money on in app purchases

**Developer response:** Hi there! Thanks for your feedback. Our game is free to play and doesn't require any purchases. If you want some tips related to the game, while it feels a bit hard, please contact us at support@2rk.games, and we will assist you!

### 5/5 — Fun app

*2026-03-20, version 1.2.5*

Fun game but frustrating you can’t use time outs. Also why does the clock run after incomplete passes?

### 5/5 — Basketball Version???

*2026-03-18, version 1.2.5*

we all waiting for the basketball version 😂

### 5/5 — suggestions

*2026-03-14, version 1.2.5*

can we get a basketball one?

### 5/5 — Add more drip

*2026-02-14*

Let me take my gloves off imma qb

**Developer response:** Hi! Great idea - thank you! We’ve noted your feedback and will keep it in mind for future updates.

### 5/5 — Game

*2026-02-10, version 1.2.5*

It’s fun
