Now it has too many bugs and features not working. Today, when selecting a news item, the item shows for 1 second then my phone screen goes completely blank. I suspect it’s a rogue ad as it happens on all news items. Very poor. I’m seriously disappointed with some much needed basic bug fixes. You have to log into the app every time as a premium member, as it doesn’t recognise your subscription. And therefore gets you to unlock it each time. I find some of the features tricky to use. It’s hard to find teams you support easily or even trending news in a hurry. If you get a notification for a news piece, you rarely can click the notification to be take to the story. Mainly to the homepage, or better; the premium account log in page. Unless you are following the URC or Internationals the commentary is nothing like it used to be. Other competitions (Premiership, Top 14) you just basically get told about replacements and a score. Even when cards awarded etc.. never told what it is for. Certainly can’t follow a game the way you used to be able to. Player profiles don’t seem to be updated regularly, often no profile pictures and outdated information. Also disappointing that don’t really seem to be doing enough in terms of profiles etc… for the Women’s game. Used to recommend to friends as felt best App out there but don’t any longer because of the standard. Just had my subscription renewal notice and told it is going up £5! On the basis I don’t think it is even as good as it was 3-4yrs ago never mind them making improvements for the extra money certainly won’t be paying more and renewing! I’ve got the premium subscription as well as it’s well worth the money, but … I’m so tired of having to constantly restore my purchase every-time I open the app, this bug has been going on for almost 3 years now can this get sorted please. Another issue which has recently returned which I believed was gone is the competition and team favourites doing nothing. I select my favourite teams and competition which I actively follow, it shows up on my profile yet when I go to see the fixtures, I’ve got every single game being played for the next year showing up for every competition. I reset it by unselecting my favourites and redoing and now I’ve got no matches showing up. Can’t win. The new format is very user-unfriendly, and can make fixtures ‘vanish’ by accidentally touching the screen. Since then it appears the developers have hung up their computers. Laggy, slow and constantly drops out. However it is so frustrating, unwanted videos constantly pop up - clearly a glitch rather than intended, the Ultimate Rugby news and data seems to always be inaccurate in a few details, including points, league positions, player’s club, etc. I have subscribed for a few years now and really want to love this app but it just falls so short of what it could be with a little more thoughtfulness and investment. Please make it better, even just 10% better would make it amazing! Less glitchy, better photos, more thoughtful news feed, more accurate news reporting, updated player details, any one of these items would go a long way. I have had this app for 5 years or so and it was glitchy years ago but quite frankly it is utterly amazing. 1 of the few apps I allow on my Home Screen. So in-depth, so much info, especially what channel matches are on considering how many leagues there are and how many teams there are now in the global game. To get this even 70% correct would be amazing but it’s 100% as far as I can see.
