## What is Ultimate Tic?

ULTIMATE TIC-TAC-TOE: 9-BOARD

The strategic twist on the classic game everyone knows. Easy to learn.
Impossible to put down.

THE TWIST

It looks like tic-tac-toe. It plays like chess.

The board isn't a 3x3 grid - it's a 3x3 grid of nine smaller 3x3 grids.
Every move you make sends your opponent to a specific small board on the
big grid. Win three small boards in a row to win the game.

Where you tap dictates where they play. Where they play dictates where
you go. Every move is a decision and a consequence.

WHY IT'S DIFFERENT

Regular tic-tac-toe takes ten seconds to solve. Most kids figure it out
in an afternoon and never play again.

Ultimate Tic-Tac-Toe is the version mathematicians and strategy players
have been quietly obsessed with for years. The game tree explodes from
"trivially solvable" into something that takes real planning. A good
move on the small board can be a terrible move on the big board.

The decision space is large enough that even strong players still
disagree about optimal openings - but the rules take 30 seconds to
learn.

THREE WAYS TO PLAY

SOLO - Three AI difficulty levels:

- EASY: perfect for learning. The computer makes mistakes, follows
obvious threats, and doesn't punish small errors. Good first opponent.

- MEDIUM: the sweet spot. A tuned search with occasional surprises.
  Beatable but never careless.

- HARD: a real opponent. Deep alpha-beta search with a positional
heuristic. It plans several moves ahead, values small-board control,
and punishes loose play. Expect to lose your first few games.

PASS-AND-PLAY - Two players, one device. Take turns on the same iPhone.
Great for trains, waiting rooms, and arguing with your roommate.

TUTORIAL - Built-in interactive tutorial that teaches the rules by
playing them, not by explaining them. Three short steps, three real
moves, and you've got it.

FEATURES

- Resume any game: close the app mid-game, come back tomorrow, your
game is exactly where you left it.

- Undo your last move: take back a move against the computer. Practice
  mode without losing your dignity.

- Stats per difficulty: wins, losses, draws, win rate, current streak,
  longest streak. See yourself improve.

- Restart, resign, or step away: every game has clear exit options.
  No menus buried behind menus.

- Light and dark mode: adapts to your system settings.

- Full VoiceOver support: every cell is labeled, every state is spoken.
Designed to be playable without sight.

- Dynamic Type: all text scales with your accessibility settings.

- Haptic feedback: subtle taps on every meaningful action. Toggleable
  in Settings.

DESIGNED FOR FOCUS

- No ads. Anywhere. Ever.
- No in-app purchases.
- No "energy" mechanic. No timers. No daily login bonuses.
- No account required. No login. No email.
- No internet connection needed. The whole game lives on your device.
- No data collected. No analytics. No tracking. No third-party SDKs.
- No notifications begging you to come back.

It's a game. You play it when you want to. That's it.

ABOUT THE GAME

Ultimate Tic-Tac-Toe (sometimes called "Super Tic-Tac-Toe," "Meta
Tic-Tac-Toe," or "Tic-Tac-Toe Squared") is a strategy game with a
deceptively deep search tree. It's played in math classrooms as an
introduction to game-tree complexity, and casually by people who think
the original is too short.

This is the polished, premium, single-purpose iOS version.

Win three small boards in a row.
But your move sends your opponent.

That's the whole game. Have fun.
