There’s no stats, no how much electricity was used, no start/stop time. Nothing. The charger is even hooked up to my WiFi and gets great signal but not even sure what’s the point of it even using WiFi if it doesn’t tell me anything. It seems it’s just for GM purposes only. Even the connection to the vehicle apps tell you nothing except that the vehicle is charging and when it will stop. No stats on electricity usage or anything else that will help you to manage the cost of your EV lifestyle. The planning tools are there but are not simple and user friendly. But the app? It’s basically vaporware with a login screen. It asks you to connect to WiFi to avoid re-pairing—then makes you re-pair every single time you open it. That’s not a bug. That’s a failure of basic product management. Functionality is laughable. You can adjust the electrical current output, and… that’s it. No charge speed. No session tracking. No kWh used. No scheduling. No smart integrations. For a company selling six-figure EVs, this bare-minimum software experience is borderline insulting. There’s so much potential here—GM just needs to stop phoning it in and actually assign some real developers to this thing.
