The problem is I have just installed new a Wi-Fi router and I cannot see anywhere how I can change my lights over to a new Wi-Fi system without resetting them all. I have 10 lights so I’m currently using the switches because it’s going to take ages ### 3/5 — Ultrabrite Bulb *2022-12-27, version 1.0.3* Set up was easy switch took 4 on/off switches before it connected, app works great whilst at home but as someone else said that they can switch light on while miles away… No it doesn’t which was the reason I bought the bulb so that if I was going to be home late I could put a light on. Bought to replace an ageing SilverCrest (LIDL) system as the app to control that system is no longer available from Apple. Easy to install ( but you MUST temporarily switch your router’s 5G output off for installation to succeed ) and the Ultrabrite app is easy to use. We had seen alternatives on Amazon for a little bit more but thought we save some money. Very easy to set up. Works with Alexa no problems. We used it with an extension on the Xmas lights making it so much easier. The bulbs from Ultrabrite also work as well. It’s just waste of my money!!! Super scam!! I have very high end BT intern fibre optic broadband at home. I tried a good 2 hours with both my iPhones. But the app can’t add the device simply just keep spinning and spinning. Never get connected!!! Had a few problems on setup and emailed Ultrabrite. Got a phone call back that very same afternoon. Excellent indeed. Turned out that the initial on/off routine needs to be done 5 or 6 times and not 3. That got the bulb flashing. Then setup was completed easily. Overall very good support and will be buying more of these bulbs as they don’t need a separate gateway such as required by Lidl bulbs.
