Tested with the ring sizing kit by Ultrahuman. Being in tech myself, needs a lot of work and shouldn’t even be on the AppStore as of now. I changed the color of the credit card. I changed the color of the background. I use the right hand. I use the left hand. I did everything I was supposed to do and each time it told me either there was too much noise in the background or it told me the background was too dark or it told me it couldn’t detect both items whatever in the world that means it didn’t work at all for me. The size the app told me was correct. ### 5/5 — Worked great! *2024-12-17, version 1.3* I had already bought a sizing kit from Walmart so I knew my size but came across this and wanted to try it. I did both hands using a black credit card and a white piece of paper. I did my right hand first, it was pretty quick, then did my left hand which took a bit longer, but both sized to a 9 which was exactly what I wore from the sizing kit on both hands! It does work but takes patience to turn the cross hairs green then hold still to take the picture. ### 5/5 — Accurate if done properly *2024-07-02, version 1.3* This sizer works great IF you follow directions and do it correctly. I found that if I did not center my middle finger with the card I was using or if I had the camera too far away from the hand when taking the photo, the reading would not work properly. I did around 6 readings for each hand and it would vary between size 7 and 8, with most of the time saying it was a 7 or a 7 with alternative of 8. I was worried it wasn’t going to work well but when I got my size 7 ring, it fit perfectly. ### 5/5 — It worked *2024-06-23, version 1.2* Worked perfectly for me. Worked for both hands. ### 4/5 — Worked well *2023-12-12, version 1.1.1* I didn’t want to wait for a sizing kit before ordering my ring so I thought this app would be worth a try. I want to wear my ring on my right (dominate) hand, so I needed to hold the camera in my left hand which was a little awkward. I took the test 6 times and got variable results. An 8, 9, 10 (3 times), and an 11. So I went with the 10 and it fits perfectly. So I would just recommend doing several tests. ### 3/5 — It works.. but do the physical sizing kit if you can wait *2024-01-09, version 1.1.2* Same as the another reviewer did not want to wait for the sizing kit. Getting the app to spit out sizing is a hit or miss but was able to get sizing a few times (7s and 8s). I went with the 8 and it fits my ring finger well but too tight for my index finger where I was planning to use it on.
