Airstream please get away from Polk *2018-08-04* This application is USELESS and RARELY connects the head unit to my phone. It is a source of frustration on camping trips which I could happily do without. Polk needs to fix this!!!!!!!! Airstream needs to stop using Polk. ### 1/5 — Does not connect. *2018-06-20* This app won’t even connect to the stereo in my 2017 Harris pontoon boat. I followed the steps in the manual and it doesn’t work. Needs massive update ASAP! ### 1/5 — Garbage app *2018-06-05* Bought a new airstream. “Hey where is my audio remote?” Oh, it’s only an app. Ok. Stupid but we’ll try. Loses pairing to the app ALL the time. Have to get up and manually adjust stations and volume? Really. This app hardly ever connects and it when it does, it doesn’t even provide good functionality. Shame cause Polk is supposed to have a good reputation but this falls short ### 1/5 — Polk system. *2017-11-23* Just got a new airstream. Has the Polk marine system installed. Biggest piece of useless crap. The APP is worthless also. Can't even see it's own system. Let's get something that works out here... ### 1/5 — Pretty much useless *2016-10-15, version 1.0* A nice polk stereo came with my 2017 Airstream, and when i first tried to use it with an iphone it made me use this app. Horrible is a compliment, if you're going to force someone to use an app at least make it usable, spend more than 10 bucks programming an interface. They really should be ashamed of putting out something so bad. Just fails at every step, not one function works correctly ### 1/5 — Worthless *2016-04-18, version 1.0* I have a 2016 Nautique. This app is worthless. Half the time it doesn't connect to the boat and when it does connect, it frequently drops the connect. There is no way to select playlists, songs or artists or anything else. Trying to control the stereo volume and/or track selections is so slow, that the commands seem to get tripped up over each other. Overall just not happy ### 1/5 — bluetooth won’t connect *2019-05-10* we have our polk system in our airstream globetrotter and this is the worst experience we’ve ever had with anything. bluetooth doesn’t stay connected and of course polk doesn’t provide a physical remote. we ended up using Anker bluetooth speakers to listen to music instead. polk needs to get on top of this and fix this issue. ### 1/5 — What everyone else said, plus 1 *2019-05-06* Disconnects, never connects back, slow, etc. Just use usb connection or Bluetooth with this app. Polk speakers are great replacements but this app needs to be replaced!! ### 1/5 — Useless app with an Airstream camper *2018-10-07* Installed in my Airstream Globetrotter and I’ve yet to get it to work after 3 months. Together *2018-08-16* Polk and ASA—time to get your act together and put an app out there that works with your systems. Useless in the Airstream we just purchased. The head unit is garbage along with the app Polk marine. Can’t get it to stay connected. Customer services is nonexistent. ### 5/5 — Huge Improvement *2017-03-09, version 1.1* Updated the app with doubts but now it actually works really well. No more random dropouts and sluggish response time. ### 2/5 — Bluetooth drops off a lot *2018-11-12* Unfortunately, the Bluetooth drops off all the time, then fails to reconnect with my iPhone8. It requires several resets to reconnect the Bluetooth... sad in this high tech age...... seems like no standards to prevent these issues. Time to regulate! ### 2/5 — App needs work and the Polk system is worse *2018-07-13* $150k boat came with this Polk system. It has been a nightmare. The amps apparently aren’t really built for marine. The crossover switches cause the speakers to cut in and out if they are bumped slightly. Obviously a boat has movement. The app is OK. The main thing I would use the app for is adjusting zone and sub levels. The slider bar is sooooooooo sloooooooow it is barely better than no adjustment.
