Pick from your Files app or your photo library, open any attachment in one tap, and every file also appears in your office archive on the web. ASSIGN AND TRANSFER FILES Cases now show who owns them. The office manager can transfer any case to any team member; a lawyer can hand a file back to the manager. DESIGN — Refreshed identity: soft gray canvas, emerald light, signature gradient ring, chat-style assistant with instant follow-ups ### 1.4 — 2026-07-31 ultraws 1.4 — What's New CORRECTED: EXECUTION PAYMENT DEADLINE The five-day payment window after an Execution Court order (قرار 34) is now. calculated from the date the debtor was NOTIFIED — not the date the order was issued, as before. Existing records that only stored an issuance date are marked "awaiting notification" instead of being counted from the wrong date. If you have open execution files, please add the notification date. INVOICES ARE NOW PROPER DOCUMENTS Invoices have a draft stage and an issue step. Drafts can be edited and deleted freely. Once issued, an invoice is locked: its lines, totals, VAT and client can no longer be changed or deleted — enforced in the database, not just the interface. Payments and instalments still post normally against a locked invoice. CREDIT NOTES Mistakes on an issued invoice are corrected the lawful way: a credit note with its own number and sequence, referencing the original and carrying VAT in the same proportion. The original stays in the ledger exactly as issued. PER-CLIENT VAT TREATMENT Each client can be set as domestic, GCC-registered, export (zero-rated) or exempt, and invoices follow that treatment automatically. One hard rule applies: an invoice linked to a case is litigation before a Saudi court, so it is always treated as a domestic supply at the standard rate regardless of where the client is based. CONFLICT CHECKER ON IPHONE Check a name against your own clients and against the opposing parties in your cases — before you accept the file, wherever you are. Arabic matching ignores "ال", diacritics and alef/ta-marbuta variants, so العنزي matches عنزي. MORE OF THE OFFICE IN YOUR POCKET Added to the app: conflict checker, lead pipeline, task templates and audit log — so the iPhone app covers what the web app covers. LEGAL ASSISTANT: BROADER AND MORE ACCURATE The library now holds 4,231 statute articles across 41 Saudi systems, up from 1,018 across six — including Criminal Procedure, Personal Status, Bankruptcy, Evidence, Arbitration, Commercial Courts, Personal Data Protection and Anti-Money Laundering. COURT PRACTICE, NOT JUST THE TEXT 13,369 published judicial records were added: principles and case summaries from the Board of Grievances (1402-1444H), Supreme Court rulings, and Ministry of Justice circulars. These are labelled distinctly from statute — a court record shows how a provision was applied and never stands in place of the provision itself. Statute text always ranks ahead of it in results. Search was rebuilt to weight rare words, so a question is answered from the system it actually belongs to. Superseded laws are flagged: the 1433 Execution Law is marked as repealed by the new law (M/237, 1447H). NEW LOOK A warm paper background with emerald light moving quietly behind the interface, matching the web app and the website. Every text and background pairing was measured against WCAG AA contrast, including where the light is at its brightest.
