The user interface is intuitive and gives lots of great information. The vehicle numbers and crowding information are particularly helpful. The only thing I would like to see improved are more frequent location updates and support for screen readers when viewing a bus’s list of upcoming stops. Y tengo que estar pendiente al mapa para saber por donde viene el bus. ### 3/5 — Latest update made things worse *2019-12-19* The most useful feature of the app is definitely looking at all the (expected) arrival times for a particular stop. You can divide this view based on the route you’re interested in, but the times are completely out of order. So, to check if the bus is running on time, you have to scroll through all the arrival times carefully to pick out the time you’re interested in. Much less user-friendly. **Developer response:** The latest updates have fixed this issue. Please try again. Thanks. ### 4/5 — When it works: Great *2019-11-04* Great when it works. Though, that's only half the time at best. The other half of the time it won't load any route data at all. Definitely use this app to get familiar with the times, but don't rely on it. **Developer response:** I fixed a big issue on my servers, which should resolve problems on older versions as well. Thanks! -GG ### 4/5 — Keeps crashing *2019-10-24* Great app usually but keeps crashing with the new iPhone iOS update. Also maybe the ad permissions don’t work? Because when an ad pops up and tries to take me to a site and I click cancel it opens the site anyways. ### 2/5 — This app used to be great *2019-10-20, version 2019.4* Recently they changed all “directions” to premium only. I understand that this is an app maintained and needs revenue but that’s why there are ads, there is no reason use this app since the update. Sacrificed accessibility for design ### 2/5 — Where is the 35 Orchard Hill via Butterfield Hall *2019-10-04* This update is no good. I’ll click on map and it’ll give me the 35 MC via Southwest with how many minutes late it is, but it says nothing about the 35 OH via Butterfield. Also the GPS is wicked wonky and will say things like walk 9 min or walk 1 min and then 8 min even thought it’s a 14 min walk. Since it doesn’t display the 35 OH route it’s another few clicks to get the route up so I can see when the next bus is coming. Also the premium version? I’m paying 30k a year and there’s a premium version of the bus app?? That doesn’t add up. We are happy to continue developing an app which disadvantages students all over, especially the off-campus population. Every day, our team is determined to make sure every student without a dorm is late to class; with no schedules or maps available at times, how could they ever be on time?! There seems to be a bug with updating the schedule data for some users. Please go to More -> Schedule Data and download and install manually. This should fix the the issue of no schedule or stops on the map. I'm working on a fix in the next update. The new update makes this information harder to find easily...in fact the stops are not even appearing. App is pretty accurate and updated, and easily lets you see if a bus is early or late.
