I can never login. I’ve tried reinstalling it a couple of times. It just doesn’t want me to login. ### 1/5 — Just use the website. *2019-08-31, version 2.2.10* The app is just the website but worse. It's buggy, you can't access email OR blackboard through it, and it crashes half of the time. It would be really useful if I could easily check basic things like my campus card or profile information, some aspects of myumbc definitely doesn't translate well to mobile, but it's better to have good but limited functionality than a buggy mess that has no reason existing. Just use the website. ### 2/5 — Just a website in a mobile wrapper *2019-07-17, version 2.2.9* UMBC ‘23 freshman here. I had high hopes for this app. I’ve seen many great university apps, as well as many awful ones. Unfortunately, this is not one of the good ones. This app serves no function that the myUMBC website can’t do by itself. The navigation is less intuitive, and the pages often load slower than they do in Safari. I’d really love to see a legitimate mobile app, and I think it could have a lot of potential. It needs a full redesign and rebuild from the ground up using a native app platform, rather than a website in a mobile wrapper. Two stars because it “works” (even though it’s useless). I have UI/UX design experience and I would love to help out! Feel free to contact me! ### 2/5 — Limited functionality *2019-05-28, version 2.2.8* The app does not allow access to blackboard or email. You able to see if you have email, but will not be able to open or send messages. ### 3/5 — Lately won't open certain things *2019-03-07, version 2.2.7* Lately the app has completely stopped letting me access some applications. I have been using other apps to preform these tasks or logging into my umbc through my safari. I believe that this somewhat ruins the app because it is supposed to allow easy access to my umbc on the go. Before this, in the past, I was having some troubles logging using the pin and fingerprint scanner and issues fully loading some applications that are now completely blocked off. ### 1/5 — App is unusable, goes to black screen like a flickering lightbulb *2019-02-24, version 2.2.7* I set up fingerprint recognition in the app when prompted, and now when I try to use it it just cycles between a black screen and the fingerprint input. It won’t let me get in or do anything. Do you not beta test updates before they go live? ### 1/5 — Will not open *2019-02-19, version 2.2.7* When I click on the app it shows up like it is going to open and then it shuts down. ### 1/5 — Crashing *2019-02-17, version 2.2.7* There is a bug where the app crashes when you open it so you never get pass the login screen.
