They state during the activation process that you won't be charged any differently from the native app. This is a fraudulent statement in breach of the UK DMCMA. They charged me considerably more and refused to refund me. AVOID AT ALL COSTS

First time I ever used umob to find a near electrical bike with good battery percentage to ride it from Eindhoven Central to the airport about 8km with bike. No problems when scanning codes, works smooth, map may miss to point the exact location of the bike but usually using refresh option solves it a bit and you can more accurately search the area for the one with most battery or such. For me that was a lifesaver !

I was riding a bike and it was super fun and I got far away from where I started, and I paused my ride to go inside to grab something and run back out when I tried to restart my ride. It gave me an error and it is super late so customer service is not available and my ride is infinitely running time and I am now stuck far away not able to continue my ride or end it, what kind of app does not allow you to end it in the pause screen I’m only able to continue the ride and it gives an error every time worst design ever

After being essentially forced on this app I realise I can’t even use it. It requires an sms verification code which I simply can’t receive due to my phone provider not working in the Netherlands. This completely blocks me from adding a payment methods for some reason. This app is supposed to be an easy way to have access to all the different e-bikes, but what even is the point if I can’t even use them? I which there was an alternative way to log in or simply a different way to rent bikes…

I’ve never in my life written an app review and I’ve used some awful apps. Surprisingly, none of them have made me this angry while trying to use a shared bike. They’ve replaced apps that always worked with one that randomly locks you out of the platform and just feels like some random junior dev built in their spare time.

It is never possible to end a trip even near tens of bikes. They claim not to charge but charge you. Take an Uber ride as you will pay the same amount for a frustrating experience!

They first charged £4.28 deposit, then I spent 5 minutes trying to end my ride which did not work. I eventually gave up after it said my ride had finished anyways, then they charged me another £9.50 extra over an hour later! Do not even think about using this app.

As described in our terms and conditions a 5EUR deposit is required to start a ride to make sure we can verify your payment method. This 5EUR will always be returned after your ride. Our customer service team will have a look into the end of ride error(s) to make sure you do not pay for minutes you did not use and to rectify this asap.
