### 5/5 — A great addition to anonymous browsing

*2023-11-28, version 1.1*

It does what it says, while it’s not going to stop Java script but this option is available to users in safari settings.

### 5/5 — It works.

*2023-10-08, version 1.1*

It functions as promised. Good job.

Wish list: randomly change the browser identifier.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — App crash

*2026-02-02, version 1.8.2*

The app crashes every time I try to create a user agent profile. Unusable

### 1/5 — Didn't work

*2025-12-15, version 1.8.1*

Didn't work to display Yahoo mail desktop version in iOS Safari, despite trying multiple preset desktop user agents. Also, the app description and privacy section say it doesn't collect any data, but it seems to require a permission toggled on giving access to webpage content itself to work.

### 1/5 — Doesn’t seem to work

*2024-07-28, version 1.2.3*

Like other users commented before me, websites still identify the iOS Safari browser as a mobile browser, even though Unagent is set to different browsers on macOS.

### 1/5 — not working at all

*2024-04-14*

please fix.

### 1/5 — iOS is still identified

*2023-12-10*

The app can change the user agent string, but Web sites still correctly identify the browser and OS. Web sites have advanced browser identification methods and do not rely on the user agent string. So you will still see the mobile version of the Web site and Web sites that prevent you from viewing them on mobile browsers, such as Disney+, will still force you to use their app no matter what you change the user agent string to. Therefore, this application has no benefit from a practical standpoint.

### 1/5 — iOS is still identified by sites

*2023-12-09*

Although the user agent is changed, Web sites still correctly identify that the browser is running iOS. Web sites have more reliable methods of browser identification than the user agent. So you still see the mobile version of the site and sites that prevent you from using an iOS Web browser, such as Disney+, still prevent you, no matter what you change the user agent to.

### 2/5 — Decent Safari Plugin

*2026-05-19, version 1.10*

Unfortunately doesn’t work for many sites. It truly only allows you to change the User-Agent header for your web requests. Many sites nowadays also check User-Agent Client Hints, which this plugin does not alter, and still causes sites to present the mobile version.

### 2/5 — Not Work 動作しません

*2026-02-17*

Safariで動作しませんでした
It wasn’t working (iOS 26.3)

### 2/5 — 使えないサイトがある

*2024-10-16*

tver.jpにて試したが、使えなかった。

### 4/5 — Works great for most part

*2025-03-23, version 1.6.2*

Has helped me deal with some pesky websites. Biggest problem is Disney+, would help if there were windows options

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Very Nice!!!

*2026-04-20, version 1.10*

Just works perfectly. Awesome to have an app like this for iPhone. Love it!!!

### 5/5 — Great Jon

*2025-12-19, version 1.8.1*

Perfectly adapted to my iPad Mini, giving the small-screen tablet the same experience as a phone.

### 5/5 — Works great now!!

*2025-11-24, version 1.8.1*

Has helped me deal with some pesky websites. Biggest problem is Disney+, would help if there were windows options

Edit - Props to the dev, Disney now works!!! Can finally watch with an ad blocker on

### 5/5 — Does what it says

*2025-09-26, version 1.7.2*

This will pay for itself with just one booking on Priceline, which charges several dollars per night more if you have a safari string in your browser. You can even toggle it on/off delete cookies, and watch it throw back different prices.

### 5/5 — Essential Safari Extension for Apple Web Debuggers

*2025-08-16, version 1.6.3*

This app is a game-changer for Apple users and developers alike! The Safari User-Agent Extension works seamlessly, providing an excellent browsing experience. It’s perfect for debugging and enhances functionality effortlessly. Highly recommend for anyone looking to optimize their Safari usage. Five stars all the way!

Looking forward to future updates where quick tools within the Safari extension modal become even more accessible.

### 5/5 — The App To Use

*2025-06-01, version 1.6.3*

This is the best agent switching Safari extension on the App Store

### 5/5 — No Data Collected & Free; How can I complain?

*2025-05-22, version 1.6.2*

Doing The Lord’s work for fellow IT professionals

### 5/5 — Effective, good looking UI

*2025-04-07, version 1.6.2*

This is a great app. Just one issue, when running it on MacOS I’m unable to delete per-site user agent rules as there is no delete button. Instead I have to use the safari tool bar button to reset the app.

### 5/5 — Works for Microsoft

*2024-12-02, version 1.4*

Works great, thanks!

### 5/5 — useful to changing user agent

*2024-08-02, version 1.2.3*

good
