## What is Unbought?

Unbought is an app for recording the things you didn't buy.

You almost added it to your cart — then put it back. Nobody applauds that moment, and it just disappears. Unbought keeps it, one pass at a time. Jot down the name and the price. Ten seconds, done.

[The satisfaction of buying, without buying] Save a pass and a little "Passed on it" stamp lands with a pop. Instead of a shopping cart, your list of passes grows. Read it back later and you'll notice the wanting has quietly gone.

[Not willpower — money reclaimed] The amounts you pass on don't count as "savings" or "self-denial." They add up as money you took back. The journey screen quietly shows your running total and how it changes month to month. No lectures. No guilt about the days you did buy.

[Light enough for ten seconds] Only the name is required. Price and note are optional. A quick word about why you passed makes it satisfying to read back.

[Pricing] Recording, editing, and deleting are free forever. Every record is saved even on the free plan — only the display is limited to your latest 30. A one-time Premium purchase (no subscription) unlocks your full history, the journey screen with monthly charts, and JSON export.

[Privacy] Unbought never connects to the internet (except for purchases). No account, no developer server, no ads — your records live only on your device. Importing a JSON backup stays free, so your records survive a phone upgrade.
