We actually do have ISBN search built in. Just tap the barcode icon in the search bar to scan or search by ISBN. We’re also working on improving duplicate listings and overall search results 💖 ### 4/5 — Love it *2026-07-13* It’s great, but I wish there were an option to suggest/add your own challenges. Example: read a book from every American historical event for the 250th. African American history, etc etc. **Developer response:** Thanks so much for the thoughtful feedback! Thanks for being part of the community! ### 3/5 — Needs some changes *2026-07-08* I really enjoy the app. That being said, there are two big changes that would make it a million times better. When looking at books under the individual challenges and clicking the back button, it takes you all the way back to the home instead of the challenge you were looking at. Then you have to click through all the challenges to find which challenge you were on. Second, I REALLY wish you could change which book shows up on the challenges. For example, if you read 5 books that begin with the letter A, I really wish you could pick which one shows in the challenges. I will not be posting any collages because I can’t remove some of the books on them. I even tried changing the dates I read the books to see if that edited the challenges, and it doesn’t seem to. **Developer response:** I'm supper happy to say that those two issues are super close to being solved 💕 editing books on the challenge is in the final stages of development! Should land very soon. As for looking at books under individual challenges, you can always go to "Wraps & challenges" on your profile and visit rules of specific challenge you are interested in. Clicking on any topic on that page will take you to the same page with book recommendations but clicking back will take you right back to the challenge you were looking at ;) no more need to click through all challenges to get that perfect recommendation 💖 hope that helps! EDIT: As of version 2.14.0 you can now easily change books on challenges! Hope you like it! ### 4/5 — Fun Book Lovers App *2026-06-02* I have enjoyed using this app! It provides book challenges, keeps track of your progress in each challenge, and easily links to books to meet a challenge spot. I love that it automatically fills the challenge location, and that every book I look up lists what spots it fills in each challenge. Not every book I have read is listed, but it’s easy to add books. The images created make it easy to post my reading updates to my social media stories. I do wish there were a couple more challenges, such as non-fiction challenges and read through continents, similar to the 50 states challenge, but more like “Read through Europe” or Asia or Africa or the Americas or things like that for those of use who like to read books set outside the U.S. as well. **Developer response:** Thank you so much for the thoughtful review! 💕 Every challenge requires a lot of behind the scenes work on our side but trust me, we're working hard to deliver them as fast as possible! ### 3/5 — better way to search. *2026-05-06* it would be nice to have a better way to search for a book. maybe allowing isbn search. 8/10 the book i am looking for is too hard to find and when i do there are already like 4 copies of it on the app. **Developer response:** Thanks for the feedback! The basic sorting options are ok but I really wish I could reorganize the books manually so they appear in the order that I want them to be. **Developer response:** Thank you! Give it a try and let us know what you think! ### 4/5 — 4 stars *2026-03-21* It’s a good app, but you can’t track your progress while reading a book and when you go to add a book to one of your albums even after you sort it from most recently updated the order changes and it’s annoying to find the album you want **Developer response:** Thanks for the feedback! Easy to add books to your TBR and it’ll track your reads using fun challenges (A-Z; romance tropes, holiday challenges, magic path etc) and it’ll do monthly wrap ups for you based on your reading dates. You can also search books with specific tropes, themes or titles making it easy to complete challenges. I only wish it had science fiction type challenges as well. I see thriller and mystery, but sci-fi is sadly excluded. Please add! And maybe change up the layouts of the themes a bit for every year? I just noticed the look of the challenges are really just copy and paste from the previous year(s). It’s been great to help me find new books to try, and I really love the challenges. I only have one disappointment that I just noticed. I was super excited to see the 2026 challenges, then immediately disappointed to see that they were almost exactly the same as those for 2025. I was hoping for some more variety in the tropes or genres on the challenges. I will definitely continue to use though because the pros outweigh the cons a lot! I have read so many books since downloading just because I want to complete the challenges, who doesn’t love accomplishments?! It was a little difficult to navigate at first but once I figured it out, I love it!! I wish it could sync up with my Goodreads but I love all the challenges so I keep coming back to add my books and see how far along I am. **Developer response:** So glad you stuck with it! Now, after updates, it stopped working on iPhones too. For example, I searched and saved several books which I finished last year. After I changed the status to Finished and set the date, I kept tapping Apply but nothing happened. **Developer response:** So sorry about the trouble 😞 That definitely shouldn’t be happening. Spent way too much time trying to log books and add them to challenge. Should be an easy process. Wish I could give it 0 stars. ### 1/5 — won't let me delete account *2025-09-28, version 1.8.1* won't let me delete account. once it asks for password nothing happens. ### 1/5 — Typos on challenges *2025-07-10* Love the concept but the GLARING typo on the romance TROPE BINGO card makes my eye twitch lol. It says Romance ‘RROPE’ Bingo…BINGO should also be in capital letters lol for a literary app, they need to do much better. Really appreciate you catching it and glad you're enjoying the concept! ### 1/5 — How does anyone even use this app! *2025-06-09, version 1.6.0* I don’t know how anyone successfully uses this app. Anytime you navigate away from the main feed page to look at your profile or search for a book it redirects you back to the main feed page. I have tried refreshing, force closing and reopening the app everything I can think of and it just doesn’t let me use the app the way I want to. The user experience for this app IS AWFUL! ### 2/5 — Awful *2026-08-23* Hardly has any books except for the super popular ones. Also not user friendly; cannot manually add things into challenges, and can only view challenge layouts in the story view. Such a terrible app. **Developer response:** Sorry for the frustration. We’d be happy to help you find these options! 💖 ### 2/5 — Too much hassle *2026-07-18* I downloaded this app because it was suggested to me so I could do the A-Z challenge and know which books I needed to read to finish the challenge, but the issue was, I had to add most of my books myself due to them not being listed. After adding 5 books then searching for a picture of the cover, I just deleted the app. I will search for another app that will have the books I read and maybe allow me to transfer them from my Kindle or Goodread list. **Developer response:** Thanks for giving Uncover a try, and we're sorry it fell short. I don’t know if it’s been asked and responded to before or not.. On the wrap ups I’d like to see all of the books I’ve read for each month. I read quite a few and on each page some of the books are cut off at the bottom. Apart from that this app is a great place to keep track of everything and find new things to read!
