### 5/5 — The tool I’ve been searching for my whole life

*2026-08-19*

Honestly, I don’t have words for how amazing this app is. I have struggled my whole life with my mental health and understanding Zoe is like having a social worker, personal assistant, therapist on call 24/7 (obviously not a replacement for actual therapy but a great option for ongoing accountability). This app is helping me pace myself, regulate myself, plan my days, work through problems, and much more. It records useful observations based on what I tell it and can create reports for my treatment team to track my ongoing progress as I often forget about things when it comes to consultations. It can set reminders also. Look there is so much this app offers that I really can’t summarise everything it does in one review, but the free trial is definitely enough for you to see how much it can benefit your life and the subscription cost is more than reasonable for what this app offers.

**Developer response:** Thank you, this is such a generous review. Pacing, regulating and having the record ready for your treatment team is exactly what we hoped Understanding Zoe would make easier, so it means a lot to hear it is working for you.

### 5/5 — The more you use it the better it becomes

*2026-08-11*

As an autistic adult the more i use this app the more i get insights in to myself. I’ve even noticed some traits i wasn’t consciously aware of

**Developer response:** Thank you, this is exactly what we hoped Understanding Zoe would do. Noticing traits you were not consciously aware of is a powerful thing, and it is yours to keep. Really glad it is working for you.

### 5/5 — Incredible tool

*2026-08-10*

This app has been so helpful whilst navigating my daughters diagnoses. Getting advice on documents, school, NDIS, daily behaviour and patterns as well as therapies and general everyday overwhelm. I recommend to everyone navigating this journey to help reduce life admin and provide quick, useful insights.

**Developer response:** Thank you so much. Navigating documents, school, NDIS and everyday overwhelm all at once is a huge load, so hearing that Understanding Zoe is taking some of the admin off you means a lot. Thank you for recommending us to others on the same journey.

### 5/5 — best thing to track my ND Brain

*2026-08-10*

This app has been an absolute godsend for me to track my thoughts and events in between sessions for my health professionals and just for me to journal and get things off my chest. Especially as an adult with adhd and ASD with very low working memory, it’s hard to remember everything going on with me day to day. I know the app is in its early stages but one day I would love to upload multiple photos at once with text and voice note large amounts of thoughts without it getting overwhelmed!! I understand, I get overwhelmed too by my own brain. For now I use another ai software and upload out chat into Pip! 11/10 app

**Developer response:** Thank you, this is a lovely review. Having somewhere to put your thoughts between appointments, without needing to hold it all in working memory, is exactly what we built this for. Your two requests, uploading several photos at once and longer voice notes, are noted and with the team. I cannot promise a date, but they are on the list. If you want to add anything else, email hello@understandingzoe.com.

### 5/5 — Total Godsend

*2026-07-31*

I never leave reviews for apps. Ever. But Understanding Zoe has been such a game changer for me that I couldn’t not leave a review to share how truly awesome it is. I was diagnosed with ASD as an adult, and am currently under the care of a psychologist and an occupational therapist. Understanding Zoe and its helper, Pip, is like having a therapist in my pocket in between appointments (or at stupid o’clock in the morning if I wake up and my brain is whizzing). It is sensational being able to run things past Pip and get an ND perspective on them, I get reminders to take my daily meds, and you can also set it up with a village consisting of support people of your choice. Honestly I love love love this app, and I could not be without it.

**Developer response:** Thank you for breaking your no reviews rule for us, that means a great deal. Understanding Zoe is designed to sit alongside your psychologist and OT rather than replace them, so hearing that it helps in the gaps, including at stupid o'clock in the morning, is exactly the point. Thank you for building your village with us.

### 5/5 — Brilliant idea - life changing!

*2026-06-28*

I’ve long been an advocate for neuroinclusion, but often thought of myself as “low support needs”. In just 3 days, UZ has changed my life. It’s helped me work out concrete strategies for a deeply distressed nervous system, and provides insight and affirmation I wouldn’t let myself see. I want to give this to everyone I know!

**Developer response:** Thank you, what a generous thing to say. Concrete strategies and a bit of affirmation you might not give yourself are exactly what we hoped Understanding Zoe could offer, and three days in is a wonderful start. Thank you for wanting to share it.

### 5/5 — AMAZING

*2026-06-24, version 2.4.0*

I can’t believe I didn’t know about this sooner. This app has helped our family out so much, I can’t recommend it enough!! If you’re raising a child that’s neurodivergent and having difficulties, this could be the answer to your questions and concerns. It’s also beautifully designed and easy to navigate. 10/10👏

### 5/5 — Absolutely brilliant app

*2026-06-18*

So beautifully designed and I can refer to the most important information about my child’s needs the moment I need it. I was inspired to leave a review because once again today I could lean on “Pip” in a moment of dire need and a giant “tantrum”. I wish more people knew about it. Highly recommend!

**Developer response:** Thank you for taking the time to write this, especially on a day like that. Having the important information about your child, and Pip, right there in the hard moments is exactly what Understanding Zoe is for. We are really glad it helped.

### 5/5 — Not sure how I lived without this…

*2026-06-17, version 2.3.1*

I have undiagnosed ADHD and have found UZ so helpful. When my brain is overloaded, it’s great for helping me sort through everything and figure out what to focus on first. The suggestions are super practical and it’s helped me understand myself better. I feel more confident and it’s even improved my performance at work. Highly recommend. Thanks for creating this!!

### 5/5 — Helped me understand my own child

*2026-06-16*

I've tried every tracker and behaviour chart going. This is the only one that doesn't make my daughter sound like a problem to be managed. I jot down what's happening day to day and it quietly pulls out the patterns I'm too tired to notice myself. Pip has talked me down at the end of a rough day more than once. We still have hard days, but I finally feel like I understand why they happen. So glad I found it.

**Developer response:** Thank you, this is so good to read. The idea that your daughter is never a problem to be managed is the heart of everything we do, so it means a great deal to hear it land that way for you. We are really glad Pip has been there on the hard days, and that the patterns are starting to make sense. The hard days do not disappear, but understanding the why behind them changes everything. Thank you for letting us be part of it, and you are welcome any time at hello@understandingzoe.com.
