## What is Unfair?

You already know what to take. But are you taking the right dose, at the right time, in the right combination? Most supplement apps are glorified shopping lists. Unfair is the protocol engine biohackers have been building in spreadsheets for years.

PERSONALIZED FROM THE START
Tell Unfair your goals, your sensitivities, and what you’re already taking. The recommendation engine analyzes your profile across 250+ supplements and returns stacks tailored to you, not generic “top 10” lists pulled from affiliate links. Focus, sleep, energy, longevity, immunity. Your protocol, your priorities.

STACK BUILDING THAT MAKES SENSE
Activate a recommended stack or build your own from the library. Set your dose windows. Configure on/off cycling. Unfair respects the way experienced biohackers actually run protocols, with real cycle cadence, not just “take 2 daily.”

ONE-TAP DOSE LOGGING
Your daily view shows exactly what to take right now. One tap logs the dose to your journal and Apple Health. Skip, snooze, or log. Every interaction takes less than a second.

RUN REAL EXPERIMENTS
This is where Unfair gets interesting. Pick a stack, set a baseline period, run an intervention phase, and track outcomes against Apple Health metrics like sleep, steps, active energy, and weight. The causal intelligence engine compares your phases and tells you whether to keep, drop, adjust timing, or run another cycle. Not vibes. Confidence intervals.

250+ SUPPLEMENT PROFILES
Every entry includes dose guidance, safety data, interactions, contraindications, evidence grading, and WADA compliance status. This is research-grade data, structured for decisions, not marketing copy from the supplement industry.

APPLE HEALTH INTEGRATION
Unfair reads your sleep, steps, active energy, and weight data to ground your experiments in real biometrics. Dose logs write back to Apple Health so your health record stays complete.

CYCLE-AWARE REMINDERS
Notifications fire only on active cycle days, personalized to your stack and dose window. Quick actions let you log, snooze, or skip without opening the app.

YOUR DATA STAYS ON YOUR DEVICE
No cloud accounts. No data harvesting. Everything runs locally with SwiftData and on-device processing. Your supplement protocol is nobody’s business but yours.

BUILT FOR BIOHACKERS
Unfair is not a wellness app with pastel gradients telling you to “take your vitamins.” It is a precision tool for people who run structured protocols, track outcomes, and make decisions based on data. If you have ever maintained a supplement spreadsheet, this app was built for you.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 2.5 — 2026-05-17

This update deepens Unfair’s supplement research library with hundreds of additional study records from the 1980s through 2018.

You’ll see richer historical context across supplement profiles, with clearer notes on dosing, safety, interactions, mechanisms, and where the evidence is mixed or population-specific. Coverage was expanded for entries including creatine, melatonin, vitamin K2, BCAA, CBD oil, cinnamon, alpha-GPC, kratom, psyllium, saw palmetto, selenium, and more.

We also refreshed the generated on-device library so the app stays fast, private, and available offline.

### 2.4 — 2026-04-29

This update makes supplement profiles easier to read and trust.

Study evidence is now easier to scan, with a cleaner in-app reader for longer research notes and fresher source details across supplement pages. The supplement library has also been refreshed with thousands of newer studies from 2019-2024, giving profiles clearer dose guidance, safer wording, and more honest confidence language when findings are mixed.

Smart reminders now better adapt to your real routine, including wake timing, adherence patterns, recent logging, and recovery context. Notifications are also more reliable, with clearer dose and experiment language plus better handling for log, snooze, and skip actions.

Streaks now reflect real supplement logging activity more accurately, including experiment doses and skipped days where appropriate.

### 2.3 — 2026-04-21

This update makes Unfair smarter, cleaner, and more reliable. Onboarding now resets with a true clean slate, asks more direct supplement questions, and refreshes recommendations to match your latest answers and behavior over time.

We also improved experiment attribution and Apple Health context, so dose logs, active stacks, and outcome analysis line up more accurately. Fresh installs now start with lower CPU overhead, and persistence upgrades are safer when older local data needs migration.

Also in this release:

Broad supplement catalog refresh across dozens of profiles with stronger evidence, cleaner dosing guidance, and safer claim framing
Recommendation reranking that learns from favorites, active stacks, avoids, kept experiments, and recent adherence
More accurate experiment and Apple Health attribution for clearer protocol decisions

### 2.2 — 2026-04-01

This update makes Unfair feel faster and more reliable across the app. You should see smoother screen updates, fewer loading hiccups, and more consistent state as you move through You, Search, Stacks, Journal, onboarding, and settings.

We also refreshed a large part of the supplement library with stronger evidence, cleaner guidance, and more accurate safety and dosing details. That means better recommendations, clearer research summaries, and a more trustworthy protocol-building experience overall.

Also in this release:

Expanded and refreshed supplement guidance across many core entries
More up-to-date evidence and citation quality throughout the library
Stability improvements that keep recommendations, stacks, and settings in sync more consistently

### 2.1 — 2026-03-15

Experiments just got sharper. Paused experiments no longer clutter your daily actions, so only running protocols surface in Next Today. And when it’s time to log an experiment dose, one tap does the full write: journal entry, Apple Health sync, and engagement tracking, all without leaving your flow.

Also in this release:

Supplement reviews now render with clean, mobile-friendly formatting for easier research scanning
40 supplement profiles improved with updated evidence and citations
20 new gut-support supplements added to the library
314 evidence records refreshed across the catalog
