There are many Unique Features within the App. The women and men we interviewed all had one complaint in common. Rarely does someone look like they do in their profile pictures. In the UnFiltered App, all the images and videos used for someone’s profile can only be taken from the In-App camera. The App itself has no upload ability. You can freely take as many pictures or videos you want but it is all done live and UnFiltered. No uploading dated pictures that don’t resemble how you look like today. The faster we can get to being UnFiltered and real, the better for everyone. A lot that happens online or in the App world can be somewhat anonymous. We don’t always know that the people we are engaging with are really who they say they are. Most Apps require a name, email and phone number and it doesn’t get much deeper than that. The UnFiltered App doesn’t request more information than that either however it does a deeper dive with that information with an 18-point verification process that authenticates the identity and footprint of the person before assigning a “Verified” Seal. This minimizes the risk of deceptive or misleading identities being used to create profiles. It creates a safer environment too for all users. One of the most unfortunate experiences we have heard about during our interviews with both Women and Men is that of being Ghosted or Stalked. These are both serious and painful realities seen commonly among most dating Apps. UnFiltered has created a “WhatsApp” type communication within the App that allows for Texting, Sending Attachments, Photos, Calling and even Video Calls without the need to exchange personal numbers. Often when a match happens, the people involved jump off the App and continue the conversations “off-line”. In this App, you can explore the relationship just like you normally would without feeling exposed in the process with personal contact information. We have heard through our interviews that people can become “collectors” of other people. We have seen people actively communicating with over 25 matches at the same time! How vested can someone get in a relationship if they feel that there are that many other people waiting on the sidelines for their turn at the merry-go-round? UnFiltered limits the number of matches so people are more deliberate and intentional with their selections. It also creates more meaningful connections with less distractions. UnFiltered’s In-App date planner matches the likes in someone’s profile and recommends a place or activity that may appeal to the match.
