This game is true to the genre, but a few things, 1. The story arc didn’t feel quite right, it was supposed to be a mystery box kinda thing, but it was never really that compelling or intriguing 2. Why couldn’t he kiss Helliwell at the end? Missed opportunity there. ### 3/5 — Aquila puzzle, stone disappeared *2025-05-17* Was very much enjoying the graphics and game play but on the Aquila Sanctuary puzzle, when laying down heavy objects and while overlapping the fire hydrant on the stone, the stone disappeared and hasn’t reappeared. I’ve tried leaving the room and quitting to main menu but the puzzle doesn’t reset. Can you help? ### 5/5 — AMAZING *2025-05-16* I have never played a game so immersive. It is a little difficult to play some of the puzzles due to not being able to see the full screen of everything on the iPhone 16 pro, but other than that it was great. The artwork is beautiful. One of the best detective games on the market similar to Voodoo Detective. I wish you could turn off the background music. There really aren’t many games of this calibre on the App Store. Interacting with inventory items is simple, but sometimes glitchy. The big issue is that an important map location can be unlocked in chapter 3, but a bug prevents you from getting to the location. Within the first 10 minutes of gameplay, I met a character who was gay. 20 more minutes and another character referred to God as a "she". As it is now, it’s too easy to miss items because you didn’t quite hover over them perfectly. Another issue is the inventory. There is no button to open your inventory; instead you tap the top of the screen. This causes problems when you’re trying to interact with an object at the top of the screen and the inventory keeps popping up. Also there are some bugs. At one point my character read a newspaper, but then I couldn’t get the newspaper off of the screen, even when I clicked on options. Currently I’m stuck at the scene where the hazmat goons are spraying the town because I can’t click on the paint atomizer. All that said, it’s a fun game with some good puzzles and solid graphics. ### 3/5 — Good…but. *2024-12-26, version 1.09* I am stuck in a glitch that won’t let me continue with my save data. Fun game, love the cartooning style and characters. Played perfectly on my iPhone 12. Saves game for you as you progress but you can also do your own saving as a backup, as I did but never needed it. I’m in the part where I need to get to the Marina. The location is so close to the corner, so every time I click it exits the map! ### 1/5 — Bugs make game unplayable on iPhone *2025-10-15* On Chapter 3 the map (only way to navigate) becomes unusable on a touch screen, completely stranding the player. This is after loading previous saves / all the usual fixes. I tried, I really did, but can’t complete it. Shame as I was quite enjoying the game but in the end was a waste of money and time. The humor and jokes were brilliant! If you pay attention to the dialog, you’ll catch funny Easter eggs. This game also has an amazing storyline. In terms of length, I would say it wasn’t a short game but it’s also not a super long game. It’s right in the middle. I wish it was longer!! I like and appreciate that the characters actually speak with audio (some point and click games only have subtitles for character dialog) and the characters move when they talk (some games, the characters don’t do that).
