## What is Unforgetful?

A to-do app for procrastinators, ADHD, and forgetful people, to keep us on track — without judgment.

- Periodic notifications for all tasks until you complete them, even if you miss or dismiss notifications. You'll always be reminded again.
- Shame-free. Snooze and defer as much as you like. Nothing is ever overdue — every day is a fresh start.
- Works with your Reminders data, so no import or export needed. Come and go as you please.
- No logins, no accounts, nothing to sign up for.
- Data is stored only on your devices and iCloud for privacy and simplicity.

A subscription is required to use Unforgetful. That's the entire business model — no ads, no analytics, no upsells later, no VC funding, no enterprise pivots, no AI training, no selling of your data. (Your data is never even in my possession. I don't want it!)

Proudly made in New York, by a fellow procrastinator who was constantly scorned for not living up to my potential.

Subscription payments will be charged to your iTunes account, and your account will be charged for renewal 24 hours prior to the end of the current period. Auto-renewal may be turned off at any time by going to your settings in the App Store after purchase.

### 5/5 — It is for me, too!

*2026-08-23*

Incredible. This guy is amazing. Just a simple app that does something low key, efficiently, and effectively. Just like the radio player that he made that plays podcasts (Overcast—check it [though you may have to scroll a bit because apple have been %^*&ing too many spiders in that horrid app store]), this app is light and it works without all the annoying nagging whining nonsense that apps seem to do these days. Bravo!

### 5/5 — Finally

*2026-08-23*

I’ve wished Reminders notifications worked like this for so long. I don’t consider myself ADHD or anything, I just way prefer this behavior over Apple’s default. Thank you for making this!

### 5/5 — Nailed it.

*2026-08-22*

Genuinely helpful… I cannot believe the things I’ve been able to get done over the last few days that would have taken me weeks to forget about and remember at the worst times 🤣

### 5/5 — Great - Missing some customization

*2026-08-22*

This is the app that the doctor ordered to make sure that you don't lose your random reminders that you've been very good at putting in but never actually accomplishing. Perfect for anyone, really. Question, is there a way to add some settings that allow you, for instance, to not follow the theme of your computer, so you can choose dark or light mode. Also, make things that you put in as done go away right away instead of sitting in the list with a line through them. Those would be great features. I'm sure there's more, but those are my first takes.

### 5/5 — Not just for ADHD

*2026-08-22*

I’m a senior who has reached that age where the memory doesn’t work well. I can set something down and 5 minutes later forget where I put it. Marco created Overcast, a podcast app I use daily. So when he mentioned Unforgetful I knew it had to be good. And I haven’t been disappointed. It’s not overly complicated like other reminder apps. It does what it says on the can. And if you’re a senior geek like me, you might enjoy the ATP Podcast.

### 5/5 — yes perfect 💯

*2026-08-22*

hello

it was terrible to have a thing on my home screen with a red badge containing 273 items. now those 273 things are gone because they don’t actually matter anymore! greatest thing since sliced tomatoes. but what do i do now?

### 1/5 — ADHD is not a term to be used lightly.

*2026-08-21*

I have a real problem with the way ADHD is used in this app’s marketing.

The developer has acknowledged that he has never been diagnosed with ADHD, yet positions Unforgetful as being designed specifically for “ADHD brains.” As the parent of children with ADHD, I see their struggles every day. ADHD is not simply forgetfulness, distraction, or needing better reminders. It is a real neurodevelopmental disorder that can affect nearly every part of daily life.

You don’t need to have ADHD to create something useful for people who do. But if a medical condition is central to the app’s positioning, that claim should be supported by research, meaningful input from people with ADHD, or collaboration with a qualified ADHD specialist. Imagine how much more credible Unforgetful would be with that kind of professional endorsement.

I’m not reviewing whether the app actually works or not. I’m questioning the casual use of a medical diagnosis as a marketing device without a clear clinical or evidence-based foundation.

### 5/5 — wonderful

*2026-08-21*

Trying Unforgetful on my Mac and iPhone. It’s wonderful so far. I love the personality of the app (gently relentless, thoughtful, kind, sort of like Marco, I imagine). And it’s brilliant at offering the kind of options I need (and didn’t know I needed until I saw them). Looking forward to giving it a good thorough test.

### 5/5 — Excellent features

*2026-08-21*

There are many reminder apps, but this app has some specific smarts that others do not. I love the quick "voice dictation" and natural language parsing, I like the server smarts of having the macOS app be able to update the iPhone app silently, and I love the "delayed notification" when arriving at a location. I really like how I’m not bombarded with notifications when things are due, it randomizes them so I always can see something I haven’t seen before. It’s really great.

### 5/5 — Finally my kind of reminders app

*2026-08-20*

This app really seems to get me. It‘s no hassel to quickly enter a new reminder and it requires you to also set a due date. Now I only have to remember to bring my phone… Perfect👍
