I can see why this game is tagged as "difficult." The trick here, though, is that the game and it's levels aren't the challenging part, the challenging part is fighting against the awful physics involved. I don't understand the game design philosophy to have the player sink like an anchor dropped from a plane in a reaction-intensive, "N+"-like platformer. I don't understand the design choice making it so that the player has to be going in the direction opposite the wall to do a proper wall jump when literally any other decent game simply does it when a player is simply clinging to a wall and presses jump. That accounts for a majority of my deaths in the most basic and what should be piss-easy levels. Don't mark your games as "hard" and make the challenge lie in the handling of your own character unless you purposely build the game around that concept like in QWOP or Toribash. That's about as "artificial" as you can get with artificial difficulty. ### 3/5 — The Ninth Dimension of Hell and back *2016-04-28* I think the game is great! It's got some great elements and awesome play styles, but it's just SO hard. I mean the first level took me 16 minutes to beat. It's just very challenging. If you could somehow take care of that...I would love it! ### 2/5 — The Most "Unforgiving" Game On The Store *2016-04-21, version 1.0* I really do want to like this, but the unresponsive controls mixed with the terribly placed objects make it impossible. It's more frustrating than flappy bird, and more annoying than waiting for half life three. ### 2/5 — Bad Controls *2016-04-20, version 1.0* The wall jump, in particular, is pretty poor. It's just not pleasant to play, your natural gaming instincts just don't match up to this, the character doesn't move where or how you want it to making the whole thing frustrating. I'm sure that once you've got your brain rewired to work with these controls it's fun and challenging in the right ways, but asking someone to master a lot of counterintuitive controls to simply play the game is a big ask. Miglioramenti!!!! ### 4/5 — People are exaggerating. The game it self is fine *2016-04-18, version 1.0* I won't say the controls aren't a problem. They are awfully tight to the sides. But the game overall seems solid. Those complaints about difficulty and the physics will be from people who don't like this genre. While games like n++ and super meat boy spoil you with long slow jumps, this game is more about those tight corners and finding the best line. If you do find yourself stuck on the back and forth wall on the first level, the best line is jump onto the left wall under the mine and just quick tap double jump to clear the obstacle. My only gripe is the controls. They need to be a lot easier to find. Don't be afraid of making the right button larger than the left. It's more instinctual to press further into the screen to move right. The jump could be a bit wider as well. TL:DR A game with potential and more gameplay than most freemiums. Problem is, it's a ripoff of Mario, Geometry Dash, and others. The game is not super challenging, but the controls are terrible. You really couldn't have made the controls any smaller. And with that notice when you first open the game, is it meant for consumer support or just so you can have a decent rating in the App Store? Either way, it isn't working very well. I won't lie, this game is extremely hard but with practice it is also beatable. The ads are very manageable and the controls are editable to make the game (slightly) easier. I have played through the free levels (which have plenty of content) to 100% completion and I own the paid levels. I have not beaten the paid levels. The controls are fairly hard to use due to the high gravity.
