## What is Unfussy?

Unfussy is a flashcard app that gets out of your way. Make a deck in seconds, study the cards you're about to forget, and get on with your day.

Turn what you already have into flashcards. Type them yourself, or snap a photo of your notes or a worksheet and let Unfussy draft the cards for you. Everything happens on your terms, and you can edit any card before you study it.

Study that respects your time. Unfussy shows you the cards that are due, not the whole pile. Pick a quick "Unfussy" session when you have five minutes, or a "Deep" session when you want to really lock things in. See what you got wrong and review just those.

Keep your subjects tidy. Group decks together, reorder them how you like, and track your progress over time so you can see what's sticking.

Made for real study:
- Create cards by hand or from a photo of your notes
- Spaced repetition that surfaces cards right before you forget them
- Two study modes: quick Unfussy sessions and thorough Deep sessions
- Review your wrong answers, with hints when you're stuck
- Flip a deck to test the question or the answer side
- Group and reorder decks by subject
- Progress and history so you can see improvement
- Works as a guest, no sign-up required to start

Sign in with Apple, Google, or email to sync and keep your decks safe. Unfussy is free to start.

## Version history (last 2 releases)

### 1.1.0 — 2026-08-18

Unfussy now speaks eight languages: English, French, German, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, Polish and Russian. You choose yours the first time you open the app, and you can change it whenever you like in Settings. Leave it on System default and the app follows your iPhone.

Study now works sideways. Turn your phone during a session and the card fills the width of the screen, with the rating buttons along the bottom where your thumbs already are. The list of cards you got wrong sits under the card, and that part scrolls, so you can read back through them without the buttons moving.

Unfussy is an iPad app now rather than a phone app on a bigger screen. It rotates freely and every screen is laid out for the room it has.

Also in this release: we no longer ask you to rate the app, a generation that fails no longer looks like it used up a credit, and shared deck and assignment links open the right page instead of a dead screen.

### 1.0.0 — 2026-08-13
