The only problem was that I could only do 3 tasks without paying money, so my screen time was very limited which I didn’t mind too much about. Over the summer I stopped using the app for a week or two while I was on vacation, and when I came back it didn’t let me do anything without paying. It was stuck on this screen about getting a premium subscription. Im pretty disappointed because I don’t think you should have to pay just to limit your screen time. Im obviously not trying to offend anyone, and if you are ok with paying money, then this is a great app for you. ### 1/5 — Paywall *2026-07-18, version 2.18* You can’t use the app at all without paying. The caption makes it seem like there are some free aspects but there aren’t. Every time I press the continue button it tries to make me pay for the premium. I can’t click out of it or use any of the features. ### 4/5 — Great option when you can’t go cold turkey on blocking an app *2026-07-17, version 2.18* I am using the paid version of this app. I appreciate the concept of “earning” time to use blocked apps. It’s really good when you can’t quite escape the itch yet, but can only unlock 30 minutes max at a time to prevent yourself from being “glued” to your phone. Some suggestions for the devs: 1. Please make the tasks list rearrangable or sortable It makes no sense that when I remember to add a morning task only for it to show up at the very end of the list where I’ve already added evening tasks. You can’t make chronological sense of what you need to do and can easily miss tasks because they are out of sequence. 2. Make a block app option where you cannot unblock any apps while on focus mode, etc. It’s way too easy to bypass the idea of earning app time when I can just unblock it. 3. When making custom times, please stop with the 5 minute increments. Some tasks require much more customization. Additionally, when you go all the way down to 1, increasing it by 5 minutes makes it go to 6,11,16 etc instead of back to 5,10,15 etc. I hope they’ll be more themes/cute/app customizations we can earn to help incentivize us to complete tasks as a another reward we can purchase ### 4/5 — Helps! *2026-07-17, version 2.17* This app has helped me so much! I use to sit on my phone all day, and now I go outside all the time! There is only one flaw that I found. That at anytime I could make the app usable again just by unrestricted them. But when I was trying to sign in, I got in and it won’t let me get pass without asking me to get Unglue Plus. I don’t want to get Unglue Plus because I haven’t even tried the app yet. I really don’t like being the one person to give the one star review without even trying the app, but it’s annoying that I can’t get in. So I took a break and when I came back, there were so many phenomenal updates! The buddy code and the motivational badges were an amazing touch but the only thing I would change would be the “touch grass”quest because touching grass and taking a picture requires you to go outside with the device. But other than that, it’s an amazing app! ### 5/5 — great app, getting better everyday *2026-08-24, version 2.26* I must admit, when I initially payed for a subscription on this app the features were more limited (although still very good!!) than they are now, but oh my gosh it’s gotten so amazing so so quickly. It functions well and if there is a problem the developer fixes it very very quickly and keeps you updated throughout. I have seen some comments about how expensive it is but if you think about it it’s really cheap, only £2.50 a month and I would prefer my money to go to a small developer anyway. It started out great letting me customise it and have custom tasks. But when I went to start actually using the app it came up with a page that Made me have to pay just to continue with the app. Basically you couldn’t use this app if you didn’t want to pay. There was NO x to leave it and I was just stuck at that page. Then, when I went to delete it I needed a screen time password. I loved it so much, and deleted it but now i tried to re-install it and it says continue with plus i never had plus and when i Clicked on continue it brought me to a page, took me back on the app and said "something went wrong we couldnt load the paywall" what paywall???!
