I sincerely appreciate the 100$ bonus from my initial 100$ bet that I lost last night, but I think I'll have to check back later, maybe their will be a update to the app. There's multiple threads throughout the internet discussing various issues with this sports books app. Using this app for the past 24 hours has been extremely frustrating, especially earlier this afternoon when I was unable to place my bets, after i had spent time researching & preparing for them. It's an extremely basic, poorly designed app that looks and feels as if it were designed by a novice working on their first project. While I appreciate the free bets for signing up, I won't be depositing any money until Unibet shows some commitment to their mobile platform. I live in a neighboring state, and I can't even look at my bets or the match lines unless I'm actually in Indiana?!?! Draftkings, BetMGM, Fanduel, and Caesar's are light-years ahead in their mobile platforms. I won the $45 bet and now am unable to withdraw the money because it’s a ‘restricted bonus’ and there is no clear definition of what that means. I can’t even withdraw my $30 original deposit now either. So I’m assuming this restricted bonus means: keep betting until lose. Don’t mess up your name on PayPal or it messes every other option up. How this is legal is beyond me. ### 1/5 — Worst Sportsbook *2021-11-21, version 1.0.53* This book is a complete joke. The app is the worst on the market. I signed up because of the sign up promo (which was mediocre anyway). I won my bet but to withdraw my money, I had to create a paypal, link my bank, deposit more money into Unibet from paypal, then withdraw to my paypal account, then transfer that to my bank. Anyone involved with Unibet should be ashamed. Please quit and find a better job anywhere else. To anyone looking for a new book, don’t waste your time here. I also like to bet on events live. First and foremost, the app is tremendously clunky to get started. I have tried five different sportsbooks in Indiana (this, PointsBet, MGM, DraftKings, and FanDuel), and this one is by far the worst with respect to login and location checking. Each time I would like to place a bet, I have to go through the following steps: - Open the app - Log in - Close the app - Reopen the app, which triggers the location check If I do not close and reopen the app, the location check never takes place, and I cannot place a bet. The other four sportsbook apps do not have this issue, and it makes this one unnecessarily cumbersome to use. This is especially vexing as someone who likes to place live bets. There are some things I do like about this app, particularly in the soccer betting section: - There is a greater availability of Asian handicap markets than most of the other books have. - The sliders on over/unders and Asian over/unders make checking multiple sets of odds quick and easy. - The odds in general are more favorable than MGM and are typically very comparable to the other books. - There is a very good variety of leagues available for betting, second only to MGM in Indiana. However, despite all of these things that I view as positives, I am turned off by the rigamarole I have to go through to open the app, and it shouldn't have to be that way. If this issue is fixed and the app becomes easier to get started, I would use it more. ### 1/5 — Terrible Cashout Process *2021-03-26, version 1.0.30* You have to jump through hoops to cash out. Plus they try to make you join their Unibet+ which will charge you for 6 months of inactivity. ### 1/5 — Terrible App *2021-03-17, version 1.0.30* I deposited money into the account and literally couldn’t place a bet. I would select a game and there was a glitch that wouldn’t let me scroll down to place it. I have gambled over 20 yrs so I know how to bet online and this app wouldn’t let me bet. Customer service says sometimes there is a glitch when you first use the app. I closed out several times and it still wouldn’t let me bet. I ended up withdrawing my deposit. Even navigating in the site is awful. This is hands down the worst app I have seen. I am concerned about getting my money based on my experience. Took me half and hour to make an account and place ONE bet… like I said, activate the new player bonus bet then uninstall it forever. There are much better options out there especially if you like live betting sports, this SUPERRR slow app combined with the TV delay makes it impossible to bet live games. ### 1/5 — Terrible App *2023-03-10* The app is extremely buggy… it doesn’t always load properly, Face ID works only half the time, the grouping of events is poorly laid out. I have used just about every betting app and this is probably the worst. Not only is the user experience poor, Unibet doesn’t offer very good promotions compared to other companies. Don’t waste your time with them until they decide to spend the money on a worthwhile app developer. ### 1/5 — God Awful Sportsbook *2023-03-04* The most terrible Sportsbook ever. There is a risk free $100 first bet but it won’t even let you make a $100 bet. Says the wager is too high. The site does say they reserve the right to restrict wagers. That is the worst thing you can do for your customer base. If you look at your options, you do have the options to set your limits. Ironically, for a single bet, the default says $10,000 for a single bet. So when I tried to make a $100 wager, it said too high, max is $24. So not only will I not qualify for the bonus, I can’t even make another wager. Any other bet I make says max is now $0.00. I figured maybe it was just me until I read other reviews. For starters once I downloaded the app it took 3 days to even deposit because for some reason it’s the only sportsbook I’ve EVER seen that makes the address on your account match your billing address or you cannot deposit. Then it’s a 3 days process of sending your ID and bank statements to customer support just for them to say they updated your address and it still not work. But finally, I got my measly $30 deposit to go through and to my surprise, I couldn’t even use it. Once you open the app, you’ll be lucky if anything even loads. So you’ll click the menu tab and click all sports, just so you can look at a white screen while NOTHING loads ever. So you’ll reset the app a dozen times and try again with the same result until FINALLY the games going on that day will load up. You’ll be relieved to finally see some odds you can take and start putting a bet slip together until for some reason every single time I get 2 legs in my slip it’s immediately glitched so I cannot add any more or take any legs out that I’ve already put in. Heaven forbid I add a touchdown scorer leg to my moneyline and over bets but apparently that’s just over the line for Unibet. Will never be attempting to login to this garbage app once I get my deposit off and will make sure anytime it’s brought up that everyone around knows not even to try the download and waste your time when there are apps out there that actually work. ### 1/5 — Whole Sportsbook needs an update *2023-01-19, version 1.0.75* They make you install a geolocation app that constantly has to run in the background which uses your data and your battery, when you login to the sportsbook it won’t even appear 95% of the time. Tried to login on a website on my computer and it would not let me login because I needed to close skypebusiness even though I uninstalled it. Do not bother with the $100 risk free bet because if you lose you only get $100 back in bonus cash and whenever you win with the bonus cash they just give you more bonus cash. Unavailable *2022-11-27, version 1.0.75* App is flawed, I signed up, made bets and when I went back to the app an hour later the main part of the app was down and I was unable to view my live bets for possible cash out scenarios. I’ve tried a lot of Sports Books and this one takes the cake for being the worst right off the bat. I tried to login via safari for the site and was directed from the site to the App Store to download an app for geo guard. Overall this is a poor attempt at being a sports book system. I may have been able to cash out some bets if I was able to access my account but sadly I wasn’t able to. Has to validate location constantly and then won’t load the screen back in for available markets. Add something to betslip and hit back button to go choose another game and it the screen reloads and goes blank. Desktop app is hit and miss. Best sportsbook in IN if you ask me! ### 5/5 — Great quality mobile betting app! *2021-04-28, version 1.0.30* My experience in the past with mobile betting apps have been mixed, so I was finally glad to find one that is very reliable and easy to use! I started using Unibet for March Madness and haven’t looked back since. I find the UI to be extremely intuitive and whenever I wanted to place a bet, I experienced no issues. More recently I have been using the live blackjack which can be thrilling (or heartbreaking depending on if you win). It almost feels like You are in the casino when playing some of the live games. I cannot recommend this app enough as every time I have tried withdrawing my winnings it has been processed. There is no clear guidance on how the play through works.
