Using app selector will show a confirmation dialog but the buttons will not work. Eventually the app crashes and restarts. ### 1/5 — Shame I bought the hardware *2019-01-04, version 1.2.62* Hard to believe that a company luke Uniden is happy with a product like this out in the market. Fingers crossed they got hacked by Russia instead of being this incompetent that they can’t fix their own mistakes. Time will tell, but time is not on their side anymore, these clowns with their lack of technological knowledge and response/ respect/ or even acknowledgement of a problem that their customers experience, but again they could give 2 craps less. Galaxy s8 Plus as a matter a fact and my iPhone 8 Plus... my Galaxy can connect to my cameras just fine on LTE which is T-Mobile for both... yet I still can’t connect on my iPhone unless I’m on Wi-Fi or a VPN.... what gives?? And it has nothing to do with ipv4 or ipv6 because my Galaxy has a ipv6 address actually and it works perfectly... please fix this app... ### 1/5 — Useless app *2018-08-11, version 1.2.62* The Unided camera app is absolutely useless, doesn't deserve a star rating. Tried to start it up, wouldn't accept my username or password. And it will randomly disconnect sometimes and won’t reconnect until I unplug and plug back in. But the mic still works! I need to individually select each camera to see them ... waiting on an update ... Uniden stopped marketing the cameras and abandoned the people who bought their product. Nothing in it for them, so no reason to keep app functioning. No reason to trust them on any new products. Like others, I can't change between cameras. I can usually see only my camera #1 and can't see the other three. Using a VPN to the home network doesn't improve the performance. The interface is clumsy, the transfer rate is slow, it is nearly impossible to watch recordings, and most recently mine has become completely in capable of connecting with the system. Pure garbage. Found this was the replacement. Works just like it did with the old app I was using. Unlike other users I have had no trouble switching between cameras. The camera is cheap but reliable. The app is a bit of a letdown, being clunky in its design. For a long time notifications became unreliable, which made the device virtually useless. Now though it has stabilised and provided me with a beautiful (?) video of my drunken neighbour wandering down the side of my house. Not the best product, but I’d say good value for the price. ### 4/5 — Better than swannone *2018-05-24, version 1.2.62* I would give it a 5 star rating if it connects all the time. But it’s camera connects better than the swannone that I also got. I used it to watch my puppy when I’m at work. I can see what mischief she’s been up to. A bit complicated to connect it first to wifi due to the fact the instruction is not clears. However, there is a bug that needs urgent fixing. When using the app to talk, the output volume on the phone immediately dropped to barely audible. So after you talk, you can’t hear anymore and had to close the app and restart every time you speak. Please fix it. ### 3/5 — Good entry- level camera *2018-01-05, version 1.2.62* Bought one off catch to try. Records only when motion is detected. Quality of video is good for day time. Night vision quality is lower, you’ll be able to make out objects but won’t be able to recognise faces. Notifications and remote viewing works well. The app seems a bit outdated. Would be nice for a cleaner UI and include better playback functionality such as pause, fast forward, rewind and the ability to scrub to a certain time point.
