Have to delete app, download again then add cameras back to have it work again. Has been happening for years. The page would come up with retry and a section to buy plan then wouldn’t recognise the login. Was instructed by help to log out and log back in but there in no option for that so all you can do is delete an re install ### 2/5 — Won’t playback videos. *2024-08-08, version 4.35.0* I’m sick of these cameras, sometimes they don’t go off when clearly someone is at my door and other times shows no footage but the alarm goes off. I also don’t get emails with the footage. The last update seems to be 11 mths ago. 🤦🏼‍♀️ ### 1/5 — Had enough *2024-07-30, version 4.35.0* On the 18th may my Uniden Solo stopped recording. Many many emails later, sent it back (still under warranty) It’s now back. Still not working! I need security for my farm and this very expensive camera has been a nightmare disappointment. After sales waste of time, asking for a refund or replacement, don’t even bother. I am so disappointed. They did nothing at the service department, just advised me it was working, it’s NOT. Shop around, just don’t go with this brand. ### 2/5 — Lost access to the cloud *2024-05-15, version 4.35.0* I can no longer access the cloud the app sends me in a loop when trying to navigate and only has a white screen when trying to bind account. Can’t update profile picture as it says failed all in all the app is not great. I can get in and see the camera though but not overly happy with the product and app ### 1/5 — Very Disappointing *2024-05-11, version 4.35.0* Very disappointing app for such a well known brand. Often breaks and stops working when updates are made. Very clunky. Often requires deleting the app and reinstalling to get the cloud features to work properly. ### 1/5 — Poor *2024-04-09* Impossible to bind cameras to cloud. They are also advertised as weatherproof. We’ve had to replace camera, solar panel and multiple batteries due to not being weatherproof. Investing in this ecosystem has cost us a fortune and we’re still going backwards. Best to avoid. Oh and support is non existent. ### 1/5 — Rubbish *2024-03-30, version 4.35.0* It is useless at picking up movement. We bought three and all of them are rubbish. Our front camera is pointed just 5m from the front gate at a 2.2m height and even with the highest settings it still does not pick up people entering through the gate. When you go to playback, all you see is an open gate. This is the same for all three. Someone stole the number plates from our van outside the gate and all it recorded was him exiting from the frame, this after he arrived, squatted and removed the plates both front and back. ### 1/5 — Unable to view cloud library *2024-03-27, version 4.35.0* Unable to view cloud library and uniden home and stuff. You have to renews it manually in the exact moment of expiry. It does not let you do it sooner, and keeps loosing footage after. This mechanic is part of a "shadow tactic" toolkit that should be illegal. ### 1/5 — Good when it works *2025-11-15, version 4.47.3* For the last year or more it hasn’t worked. I’ve tried help support from uniden but no follow up and more problems I’ve given up. ### 1/5 — App hasn’t worked in months *2025-11-06, version 4.47.3* The app just shows me an error and a refresh button. The moment I hit the refresh button it takes me straight back to the refresh button doesn’t even try to load. And the alarm now triggers just because you turn the camera on. Now Cloud saving is switching itself off too. No recordings this month. A complete waste of time. Am trying a reinstall of the App. and may update if anything changes. It seems that a third party may have much better access than me. NB all features of the App may not work if you try using the App with an active VPN. Does not show cloud accessible images and I have to log onto the uniden cloud web address. P ### 5/5 — Best so far. *2022-01-17* Been using the Uniden Solo wireless security cameras for 2 years now. Very happy with them, I must admit though they can be temperamental at times. Issues like not being able to connect to WiFi, not being able to sync with router on start up. Sometimes won’t record a movement even though it’s right in front of the camera. But let’s not be too critical, I suspect it has to be because of our crappy internet as I am in a 3rd world country. Battery life is awesome, sure if you playback a lot the battery drains quicker, overall 8/10. ### 5/5 — Very good to put by front door or inside the room *2020-12-06, version 4.24.3* Love it and wish i have one more ### 5/5 — Takes a weight off my shoulders. *2020-09-23* I have had a tenant from hell, thanks to the Uniden Solo I have been able to breathe a little better knowing I am able to receive motion alerts and 24/7 access to viewing the property while I am located away. The cameras have been in place for 8 months and I highly rate them. No issues with the recharging via the solar panels, maintains charge at all times in our sunny location. I have only ever been unable to connect due to not having enough credit on the prepaid Sim Card. Upon topping up credit access returns. Love the ability to communicate with any intruders on the ground via the speaker and use of app to talk and the alarm if needed. Mostly I have the audible alarm turned off. The night vision I believe is excellent. I did do some adjustments to the camera angle to improve my night vision on the first night. ### 5/5 — Finally, a security system that works as described! *2019-08-15* A wonderful wi-fi security offering from Uniden. Works as described. Very few false alarms. I’ve purchased three, all used outdoors. Two have the Uniden solar panel connected and as expected, are always fully (100%) charged. The other is running off battery and after some two months of use, still has 70% charge left. Uniden Solo app (iPhone) is easy and intuitive to use.
