I can quickly check what is happening on site from my phone without any complicated operation. ### 5/5 — Good CCTV App *2026-08-12, version 5.2606.71* I’ve just upgraded my old 2020 ADT-installed DVR to a Uniview model because after meticulous fault finding, my old Concept Pro DVR had become faulty. Compared to the Concept Pro app, UniEase is loads better with a much crisper, modern, interface. I managed to install and configure the DVR and UniEase app using just the QR codes and by following the prompts that appeared. No issues with playback to my iPhone, even when I dropped my iPhone off the home WiFi and streamed using 5G. Not sure why there are so many negative reviews, it’s been easy to configure. ### 1/5 — No Support & DIFFICULT to MANAGE *2026-08-09, version 5.2606.50* I , first of all got SEVERELY OVERCHARGED for the installation of the system. The tech who installed it had worn out tools that weren’t clamping properly & securing the end cable connections properly, so connections were not connecting properly. I’ve had issues with my system right from the beginning. Once the tech got my money, he dropped me & the system like a hot potato. I’ve called several times to get him to come back & fix up my system, with NO RESPONSE . The installation was EXTREMELY POORLY DONE & I CANNOT EASILY FIND A NEW TECH to fix up the SEVERELY MESSED UP INSTALLATION. There is ABSOLUTELY NO TECH SUPPORT & the system is difficult to IMPOSSIBLE to deal with. My complete system is OFFLINE & COMPLETELY USELESS. Reading up on the system, they tell you that it’s easy to operate , NOT TRUE. I cannot get my system back up & operating . They have NO EASY STEP BY STEP INSTRUCTIONS on how to navigate or service your system. I would NEVER RECOMMEND THIS SYSTEM TO ANYONE . DEFINITELY!!!!, DO YOUR HOMEWORK BEFORE purchasing this system!!! ### 1/5 — Latest update *2026-08-04, version 5.2606.50* The app you need to open twice as the update has caused this not to show camera view. However, this all changed when I lowered the resolution from HD to SD, and now the response is much better. Important to note that downloaded videos of triggered events have the higher resolution, with no loss in quality.
