### 2/5 — Constantly logged out

*2025-01-13*

It’s very annoying being logged out. It doesn’t allow my phone to save login credentials which adds to the frustration.

### 2/5 — Daily log in

*2023-11-14*

I have log in daily and it is very frustrating

### 1/5 — crashes

*2019-10-29, version 4.0*

used to work fine, now it crashes whenever i want to apply to multiple students and whenever i switch classes. please fix update is failing!

### 2/5 — App

*2019-10-29, version 4.0*

The app is crashing. Please update it

### 1/5 — Keeps shutting down

*2019-10-28, version 4.0*

Since I updated the app it keeps shutting down.

### 2/5 — New update bugs

*2019-10-28*

The app crashes after almost any action after the update: becomes unusable at school

### 2/5 — Glitches

*2019-10-28*

Too many glitches right now. Closing at random times while using the app. Please fix them since this is a vital tool used in the classroom.

### 1/5 — Please fix!

*2019-09-12*

Love the idea of Kickboard hate the app. I wish you could search for students. Also it kicks me out everytime I close the app. It won’t stay logged in and i consistently have to put my email and password in even though my Face ID is saved 🤦🏽‍♂️

### 1/5 — Can’t create an account

*2019-05-03, version 2.2*

I install this app to track my YouTube stats, and it brings me to a sign in page, and there is no option to create an account, just to sign in. I’m assuming you have to go to the website to create an account, but who wants to waste their time going to a website for something that you should be able to do directly from the app. Instagram and Snapchat had a create account page, but not this. This app is not worth my time.

### 2/5 — Cannot sort by dollars

*2019-03-08*

The app would be more useful if it let you sort classrooms by dollars instead of just first name and last name. It would also be more useful if it automatically logged you in.

### 1/5 — Trippin

*2019-01-20, version 2.2*

it’s trippin dude i can’t use it no more

### 1/5 — Kickboard

*2018-12-04, version 2.1*

My son says teachers abuse it

### 1/5 — No parent log in

*2018-10-01*

I like kickboard. But the app doesn’t allow parent sign in which would be so much more convenient

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Worst communication app ever!

*2025-10-22*

It logs you out every time, doesn’t send notifications that you have messages, and will send you your own messages! I even had it send a message to a parent that wasn’t supposed to receive it. Parents can’t sign up and get locked out constantly.

Please make this more user friendly for parents and teachers.

### 1/5 — Glitchy

*2024-11-12*

For the last week it keeps giving a pop up message that states “something went wrong, please try again later”.

### 1/5 — Im Gay rocco

### 1/5 — Awful for parents

*2024-03-04*

Notifications do not work. Labels for contacts do not work, instead when a parent sends a message it shows up as “child’s family member” and not the correct child when multiple children. Messaging is not functional or reliable. For a communication app it needs significant work and schools should avoid at all costs! Horrible!

### 1/5 — Needs a LOT of work!

*2024-01-10*

The app and desktop website are both so slow and glitchy that it is extremely impractical to use them with fidelity for PBIS in a classroom setting. Points that you give to students on the app don’t sync to the desktop website without refreshing, and vice versa. Attendance is inconsistent across the app and desktop site. Also, and perhaps most importantly, there is NO audible feedback for students earning points on either platform, which is certainly would be one of the most useful aspects of this platform from a classroom management perspective. Overall, it seems as if Kickboard, or “Universal Classroom Behavior Support,” was developed without any input from teachers nor any short- or long-term field testing. I only continue to use it because I literally have no choice at my school.

### 1/5 — No Kickboard Classic means no list view

*2023-09-11*

PLEASE add a vertical list view to both the app and the website. I input points for my classrooms in real time and ai cannot do that efficiently with a grid layout. Alphabetized lists are much more mentally efficient. PLEASE add list view back, for Pete’s sake.

### 1/5 — Not good for parents communication

*2023-08-18*

As a parent, I am unable to message teachers without them first messaging. Also my name shows up as (null) Childs Family Member, and lists my name in the list of conversations instead of the teachers name! And it has the incorrect child for that teacher (I have two children at the same school). Many bugs to be fixed!!

### 1/5 — Not helpful

*2022-03-16, version 6.6*

It not helping

### 1/5 — wow

*2021-01-12, version 5.7.0*

great idea, but the app is constantly glitching. haven’t even been able to enter anything for a few months. useless. when it works it’s good.

### 1/5 — Trash

*2020-04-24, version 5.2.0*

They give a bad grade

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Marvin D. Jones I.

*2021-11-03*

This App Is A Great Tool To Push The Learning Culture Forward, Along With Child Development Industry As A Whole.

Truly A Blessing How Teachers And Leaders Of The Youth Have Innovative OutLets On Their Journey Of Creativity.

### 5/5 — Fun, Easy & Efficient

*2021-09-28*

It’s super easy to use and it’s a great way to keep kids engaged. It’s fun for the kids to have something to work for and keeps the classroom environment supportive. I love it.

### 5/5 — e

*2019-08-23, version 3.0*

peepee

### 5/5 — Tracking Students’ Behavior

*2018-10-01*

Great app to track students’ behavior. Tech support has been very helpful resolving all my concerns with the last update.

### 4/5 — Needs Bank Mode

*2025-05-15*

App much improved after I updated the software on my iPad; however it is still missing the BANK feature where students can see their total points and spend them. Please add this feature to the app!

### 4/5 — Buggy update fixed, now works great!

*2019-10-31*

Kickboard works well, making sure our school-wide discipline system is easy and quick to use. Latest update streamlines the apps functions and adds some organizational features that teachers have said they’d like. This is still just a four star review because the first version of the update crippled the app beyond use for several days.

### 3/5 — Does the job but could be much better

*2017-02-21, version 1.7*

Lots of improvements that helps maintain behaviors but can still be better.
It's hard to quickly give behaviors when you have to scroll down and find the appropriate one. A quick search and customizable behavior shortcut would help maintain behaviors quickly allowing teacher to go back to teaching faster.

### 3/5 — Getting there...all in time! :)

*2016-09-15, version 1.1*

The app has limited options but is more user friendly and less overwhelming than using a computer. There are still many glitches with the app where students are showing up in incorrect classes and the app must be removed from the device and redownloaded to show any updates. It can be a pain but has good potential. I can't wait to see the glitches worked out so all staff in our school feel better about using it.

### 3/5 — Please allow me to stay logged in

*2016-08-27, version 1.1*

This is an app that would work great if I could stay logged in and save my password/username. I use a password manager and dislike having to lookup my password every time I login. This is unnecessary security.

Thank you for creating the app but please

### 2/5 — UC Behavior Support Prompt

*2025-02-12, version 7.4.1*

My daughter school uses this app, in the beginning I never had an issue then a few months in after having the app I started getting a code that always states ( UC Behavior Support… Something Went Wrong. Please Try Again Later ) it’s glitchy & also slow. Please fix. Definitely have the potential to be a great app.
