### 2/5 — Phone and iPad taknks

*2026-02-23*

Not the best. Phone app freezes often and sometimes shows a blank screen. Navigating the menu from chrome on the iPad you can’t select side menus or when you scroll to select something like fee schedule , you can’t see it. Scheduling from AM to PM sometimes automatically selects wrong time of day. Also I’ve asked for over three years to be able to toggle on amd off certain intake and assessment forms from the library and was told they are working on it but don’t. How helpful is it to be able to send out different forms to patients especially when you have different tools and are required to have a number of assessment forms for insurance companies or different strategies¿
It makes it hard as a solo practioner when you constantly have to report, take pictures and screen shots, miss phone calls, or can’t perform the functions you need to have a sleepless day

### 1/5 — Terrible

*2025-06-20*

If I could give no stars I would. The app no longer works on my phone, for the last week now. The calendar is not working on the IPad just now. How will I reschedule my client? Their programmers are terrible. It seems they don’t test updates before going live. For the last 2 years every update makes the program more glitchy, less user friendly and less usability. I reach out to support staff and they have no ability to fix anything or help out. I was told not to use the web browser on my phone because it’s not compatible, and then two emails later told to use the browser on my phone. From the same support person. Just terrible.

### 3/5 — Get stopped with scheduling

*2025-01-23*

Scheduling became harder from the phone app when changes were made. For the last 6 months I’ve been getting a “server error” message when scheduling and rescheduling patients. I’ve emailed support and spoke to support and still getting the error when scheduling. Tried to schedule new patients becomes stressful having to then write down their information or ask them for it after initial request. System is a let down here.

### 1/5 — Not compatible with older models

*2024-06-10*

Don’t update if you have an older model, it’s not supported. And the helpful advice I got was “buy a new iPad.”

### 1/5 — Glitchy and don’t fix bugs

*2024-04-25*

This app is incredibly glitchy. They focus their efforts in iOS, so if you use an android phone the app is glitchy. Merging dates on my schedule is one example. They also took away features such as being able to schedule appts for other practitioners other than yourself, and being able to look at two offices at the same time. They don’t seem to hire staff to check for bugs before launching updates. And have taken more than a year to fix issues. Very unimpressed, dissatisfied and disappointed with this service. If you look at Google Play Store u will c their reviews are 2.8 currently. And there has been issues on my iPad too, such as the schedule just not coming up for a few hours. Hard to reschedule a client when you can’t see your availability.

### 1/5 — App freezes and closes without warning

*2022-12-29*

I have called and complained about the app not working correctly multiple times but no one has gotten back to me this past 3 months. The app will freeze EVERYTIME it is used during intake and it is extremely frustrating when I’m trying to take notes. Sometimes, it closes without warning and everything I was typing disappears. It’s extremely frustrating to use this app. It only started happening about 3 months ago. There are other features that this app can change but besides that point, it is useless during clinic hours due to the automatically closing and freezing.

### 5/5 — Love it

*2022-07-14*

The customer service could not be better. I love the ease and organization of this app. I run a cash based practice so I don’t need slot of this the features but the app makes everything easy and if I ever have an issue or question the support team is so helpful. It feels like company cares about their product and about being helpful. There’s more updates than I think necessary and more functions than I need but sure beats paper files and the price point makes it doable as well. I also like Unified Pay merchant account integration. Thank you Unified Practice !

### 3/5 — Could be so much better

*2020-01-22*

Whoever designed the workflow seems to not have a high-volume practice. The ipad app can’t pull up paper files / labs/ attachments to you have to go to a browser, log in, call up the patient and find the file. So stupid, so hard to use, makes it very difficult to glance back at my paper notes for older patients. Also, whenever you add a point to your acu rx the sets get erased and you have to start over. And any protocols you want to save will save your entire rx, there’s no way to select just the points you want to memorize. Plus different sections are completely walled off regarding the patient without direct links, so if you are in calendar you can’t get to their notes. Also, huge loading times sometimes, and for me 1-2 minutes lost per patient is a huge loss of time spread out thru a day, plus awkward when a patient is talking and you want to start typing. You can’t link pain areas on the front and back of the body and there’s no place for the bottom of the foot. The Tung section doesn’t have a lot of points or dao ma point groups. Arrrggghh.

**Developer response:** Hi Benny,

Thank you for bringing up your concerns. I'd recommend attending one of our daily iPad training sessions, as we can show you how to get much more functionality out of the system than you're currently getting.
For example, the attachment files are readily available on the iPad app from the patient file or the SOAP note - no need to navigate outside your note!
If you add a Protocol, it does intentionally erase sets, but that is the intended functionality, as it is one of your saved sets.
Patient notes are accessed from the Patient List and Dashboard, not the calendar, but we're potentially changing this in the future.
You can select the main area of pain and then use free text to include additional information such as radiating pain, etc from the the patients description.
We have the classic Master Tung points, but not the supplemental points.
We have recommendations for internet speed in our help center - sounds like an improved local connection may be the answer for your load times.

We very much appreciate your feedback and hope you'll be able to attend an iPad sessions again soon so we can show you some ways to get more out of the app.

Thanks!
Susanna
