### 2/5 — Confusing / inaccurate photo updating

*2021-01-29, version 4.5.8*

Uploading pictures each week is confusing every week. I think I got out of sync one week and every week since the before picture is the after picture and the after picture is the before picture. Editing the pictures manually doesn’t seem to work either. Support can’t change anything either. It’d be great if the progress check in had a prompt asking you to take a picture of which week. It’s pretty frustrating. Support is responsive but using the app is a headache.

### 1/5 — Uneven response time

*2020-09-28, version 4.4.7*

I’ve sent two messages over a week and no responses. It’s also over something that they messed up so it’s irritating. Also the app doesn’t have a notification on messages when you open the phone... irritating.

### 2/5 — Their service is good but app is really hard to use

*2020-09-21, version 4.4.7*

I've had multiple problems using the app through the treatment: lost past photos when app updates, process timeline does not match with check-in messages, notification no longer pushed, etc…Would really suggest you to improve the app since this is critical given the feature of your business and especially during the pandemic when a lot is the customers really depend on the app to work for treatment tracking.

### 1/5 — Horrible

*2020-09-20, version 4.4.7*

App is horrible, doesn't allow me to upload photos because it crashes constantly, doesn't show all my trays accurately (e.g jumps from 26 to 33, what?). It's a shame because the service is good, so how can the app, which is an essential part of the service, be so bad?

### 2/5 — Company is great, app is bad.

*2020-09-17, version 4.4.7*

The app crashes after 3 seconds of being in the messages tab. Every single time. Uninstalled and reinstalled. Turned off and turned on. Nothing helps.

### 1/5 — So many bugs, errors and bad experience

*2020-09-08, version 4.4.7*

This app has so many problems in it. I try and check-in with my weekly progress but it doesn’t record it, it also doesn’t give me reminders when to change, the dates of my treatment is all muddled up and confusing. No one also gets back to you on the messaging feature quick enough that calling would be much faster every time.

### 1/5 — Poor service all around

*2020-09-03, version 4.4.5*

The app has gotten worse with checking in your new aligner by restricting the dates I actually wore them. The photo upload now never aligns properly. Why do I bother aligning my smile where the app wants if it’s not going to align my photo properly? Replies to any question now take about 4 days and the person doesn’t actually read my concern.

### 1/5 — Service is great! App is poor.

*2020-01-22, version 4.3.2*

Service is great! App is poor.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Company has become completely unresponsive

*2024-01-15*

I would’ve recommended the company but no one will get back to me and I’ve been reaching out since December 31st. Very unprofessional and I wouldn’t recommend this service to anyone moving forward.

### 1/5 — Why even have an app?

*2022-10-30, version 4.8.13*

First off - I’m a very happy customer of Uniform Teeth. This isn’t a review of their service at all; this is a review of their app.

Part of what made Uniform different than their competitors when I picked them was the prospect of “all of the interaction is conveniently handled through the app!” - you’d do weekly check-ins, schedule appointments, and get push notification reminders when it was time to switch aligners. Since I’ve started my treatment, they’ve (for reasons I truly cannot comprehend) turned off (or broken?) reminder notifications, and removed the ability to schedule or even VIEW existing check-in appointments via the app. Huh? Are we going back in time? I have to call to schedule appointments during business hours? Why?

The app now only serves as a way to send weekly check-in photos. At this rate, I’m betting they’ll announce even that will be removed and we’ll be told to submit our photos via fax or something.

Might as well just end the app entirely, Uniform. The only thing left is a function that could just as easily be handled via email.

Again - SUPER happy with the actual in-office experience and the progress on my alignment! Just disappointed that they seem to have abandoned one of the things that made them better than the others.

### 1/5 — Version 4.6.7 Crashes on opening

*2022-04-10, version 4.6.7*

Version 4.6.7 crashes on opening with iOS 12.5.5 on iPhone 6

### 1/5 — Crash all the time

*2021-08-18, version 4.6.0*

Can not even find any worse app

### 1/5 — App is not helpful

*2021-03-03, version 4.5.12*

I’m only on my first week of treatment, but I hope my treatment is not based on the app because it’s incredibly glitchy and not helpful. I just updated the newest version and it says I’ve worn my aligned for less than 18 hours a day, which is absolutely not true. One day it says I only wore it for 8 hours and when I look in the app, the times show that I wore it for a lot longer than that. But what is math anyway.

### 1/5 — The BADEST APP!

*2021-01-01, version 4.5.7*

This app has a tons of error and bug, i’ve tried to change the master credit card payment to visa card because my master card is lost, but it still stick my master card in there even I removed it already and can’t make a prepay

### 1/5 — Great Care, terrible app

*2020-11-04, version 4.5.1*

I have to delete and reinstall this app every time there is an update, or when I change my aligners.

### 1/5 — The app is terrible!

*2020-10-24, version 4.5.0*

I’m on my second week of treatment and the app is telling me I’ve already completed week 3. Can’t upload photos properly, dates are all over the place, progress updates are wrong and check-in reminders are for tray 1?! If this is an integral selling point for uniform teeth, I highly recommend improving the app experience. How is my treatment going to progress properly if the care team is looking at the wrong photos and dates?

### 1/5 — Terrible application which is the basis of this service

*2020-10-14, version 4.4.14*

Application is really terrible - especially for a technology first aligner provider. The app functional requirements are simple so it is very disappointing they couldn’t get it right. @Uniformteeth I strongly recommend you invest more in your technology.

### 1/5 — Starting my timeline soon but app doesn’t work

*2020-10-07, version 4.4.13*

Just finished my consultation and looking forward to start my timeline soon. Downloaded the app and worked fine for a bit but now constantly crashes when I try to view the messages tab. I uninstalled and reinstalled the app but still crashes. I’m unable to chat or see messages which makes this unusable. PLEASE FIX IMMEDIATELY!!!

Update: v4.4.7
App still crashes on the messages tab :(

Update v4.4.13
Same. App still crashes when I’m on the messages tab. I cannot chat with anyone and always need to call or email :( PLEASE FIX!!!

### 5/5 — Results Better than I Ever Imagined

*2022-08-18, version 4.8.9*

I am so happy with the results I got from using my aligners and the care I received from Dr. Aggy and her assistant Taylor throughout my journey. I listened to what they told me to do and I trusted their guidance, and it totally worked! Dr. Aggy took the time to listen to my concerns about shaping my teeth before she made adjustments, and I have to say I am 100% over the moon with how my teeth look now compared to how they looked before I started my treatment. The treatment I received was tailored exactly to my teeth and my needs. Plus Uniform Teeth came in almost $2k cheaper than the other companies I got quotes from. My whole experience has been nothing short of a total win, and I’d recommend this company to anyone looking to transform their smile.

### 5/5 — Highly Recommen

*2022-07-30, version 4.8.6*

If you want aligners, I highly recommend Uniform teeth. It’s a different process from other aligners by offering rotations on teeth that other services, including Invisalign do not. My sister went through the Invisalign route and I went through Uniform teeth. Also I’ve had metal braces in the past and it took a really long time with little movement after three years of wearing them. I had the metal braces removed. So when I met with the orthodontists at Uniform Teeth, they were able to assure me they could correct my problems and now I have beautiful straight teeth. I couldn’t be happier I’m very grateful.

### 5/5 — Best Clear Aligner Experience!!

*2021-12-27, version 4.6.5*

Uniform Teeth has got it all! From modern orthodontics / tech-enabled orthodontics, to quality care from licensed Orthodontists, to an amazing Mobile App experience….simply the best!!

### 5/5 — Uniform Teeth Staff Professional Personality

*2021-09-16, version 4.6.1*

The first time I came into the office, I was real nervous, didn’t what was going to happen, Once I met Rachel, receptionist and the doctor, I felt so comfortable with their smile and the reinsurance their patients that everything was going to be ok. I would advise anyone that is having orthodontist work done their teeth, go to Uniform Teeth to have their teeth done.

### 5/5 — User Friendly

*2021-09-03, version 4.6.1*

Easy to use and helpful for treatment. Have enjoyed my experience so far.

### 5/5 — Smooth experience

*2021-06-11, version 4.5.17*

App is easy to use and helps me keep track of my progress throughout treatment

### 5/5 — Amazing!!!

*2020-10-05, version 4.4.12*

App is easy to use. Whole experience is phenomenal

### 4/5 — Good, but with potential for improvement

*2021-12-23, version 4.6.5*

This app serves as a good companion to your treatment and overall I’m happy with how it works, but there are a few areas of improvement I’ve found from the past couple months of usage.

The app does not seem to handle changing time zones correctly, adjusting the time of previous check-ins to your current time zone. I switched trays Monday evening, but when I traveled to the east coast the app would warn me this was too soon since technically my previous check-in time was 2am the next day in the current timezone. Subsequently going to Europe the app would prompt me to check in a full day too early, on Sunday instead.

It would also be nice to see how long you’ve got left on your timer, for example if you’re trying to decide if there’s time left for another coffee.

The fact that your timer doesn’t automatically restart after checking in is very confusing, and I’ve several times gone to bed forgetting to restart it.

Furthermore the check-in process is a bit confusing, the mouth template on the picture isn’t very helpful other than to line up the sides of your mouth.

### 3/5 — Okay, but Frustrating App- UI Needs Tweaking

*2022-05-07, version 4.6.8*

The app itself is okay, and generally serves its overall purpose of making the alignment process a more convenient and lighter lift for users, but the app has some issues that only add to my confusion and frustration.

Today I tried to switch to my second tray, and unfortunately the instructions on which steps to take for a photo check-in weren’t crystal clear (should I be wearing my original aligners, the next set, or taking a bare teeth photo). Eventually, I realized what I needed to do after looking up instructions online, but having a step-by-step set of instructions or visual aide within the app would be helpful.

Additionally, once I switched to my new set of aligners, I tried to update my tray progress in the Treatment tab. For some reason, the app glitched, upping my percentage by 10+% each time I saved, and added multiple duplicate “Tray 2- Completed” checkpoints to my alignment timeline, which caused even more confusion because neither I nor the customer rep I called could delete them.

Lastly, when switching to new trays, there doesn’t seem to be anyway to reset the in-app timer. Why would I continue with the amount of time I had my previous tray in, when I now need to start progress-checking and time monitoring with a new tray? This is the most frustrating oversight, as a reset option for the next tray should have been the simplest and most obvious inclusion IMO.

### 2/5 — Confusing app at times

*2021-04-26, version 4.5.15*

Agree with other reviewer. Uploading photo for check in is confusing. App needs a UX designer to reconfigure
