I like my Evscope. The software is very mediocre and disappointing though. Especially compared to the simplicity and possibilities given to you by the way cheaper chinese competitors. (Eg.: No denoising or frameing).

The app is ok, however the biggest problem is, that new objects like comets are not added to the catalog. The Chinese cheap competitors are doing this much better and faster.
Also the WiFi range on the scope (Odyssey Pro) is really a bad joke.

The viewing catalog has errors that after messaging the support team for month can’t seem to be resolved. Given it takes days for Unistellar to respond, they probably aren’t that serious about fixing the data either.

Malgré la mise à jour, le téléversement est toujours long et laborieux. Se serait-il pas envisageable de téléverser sur un support tel qu’un Mac ou pc pour ensuite les envoyer?
L’application est bien, mais il serait sympa d’avoir un accès et pilotage via un navigateur ou logiciel sur Mac ou Pc.
Tellement plus pratique pour faire des lives en streaming…

El mejor telescopio del mercado sin duda, pero por favor poned para que podamos leer todo en español, nos encantaría poder leer todos los textos bien (aunque sé inglés) pero hay muchas palabras que no entiendo y tengo que estar traduciendo. Gracias!!!

The app forces auto updates too often. This latest one seems to have a a problem as now I can not use the telescope, after setup in the dark because the update fails with message try again. I’ve tried 30 times but no luck. This was fine last week!!!!

Stop messing around.

There does not seem to be an update this app button in the app.

An update button is needed so it is possible to do that before packing everything up!

the only way to get it to run orientation is by connecting to the scope and then turning my phone off into airplane mode for a second and then turning it back on. if this doesn’t crash the app, then and only then does the prompt that lets me run telescope orientation appear. this is a $5000 telescope. i shouldn’t have to have to find this insane work around  the software everytime i want to use it.

additionally the oriention is wrong about 30% of the time and i have to start the whole thing over or it will attempt to go in the opposite direction to find objects i can see with my naked eye. actively looking for a new telescope to run my astro tours because this one has let me down for over a year now.

Please get in touch with our customer support if you have issues with your telescope, with as much info as possible, that is: serial number, devices used, OS, detailed explanation of encountered difficulties, day and hour of observation, screenshots or videos, etc. We have got many astro businesses as customers and are always happy to provide help. Nothing works. 
Connecting is a nightmare
Updating firmware is glitchy. 
It won’t do the orientation and app freezes then 
Can’t connect via bluetooth.
It cannot calibrate it freezes. 

This app was rushed and clearly not ready to support a “smart product”. Returning. What a marketing gimmick.

Why the Seestar has the C/2025 A6 and Unistellar does not?? I have both telescopes but finding myself using(and recommending)  the Seestar much more. This is junk, clunky app and connection, lack of features (compared to Seestar)

Wer gerne seine Zeit damit verbringen möchte, statt astronomischer Betrachtung sich mit Softwareproblemen herumzuschlagen, der wird mit diesem Teleskop vielleicht glücklich. Ich habe nach zwei Jahren die Nase voll. Aber leider gibt es kaum einen Markt, dieses Gerät wieder zu einem akzeptablen Preis loszuwerden. Zu viele wollen das gleiche: verkaufen! Das Teleskop hat zweifellos Vorzüge. 
Aber die Software ist erbärmlich.

Update: After 30 min exposure (Helix nebula) when I tried to save the pic the telescope suddenly parked itself and turned off, without saving. It happened TWO times, each time the scope will park itself and turns off!!  
They need to fix the app. I stopped recommending the scope to friends. I bought a competitor small scope and app and interface seems much better.
Connection drops frequently. One time used ipad but after more than 30 min exposure was unable to save the pic !

Update: Developer has commented on this post and all the other recent poor reviews asking for a bevy of information. I gave a detailed account of what I have to do to make it work and many of the other reviews express their encountered problems. With the amount of negative recent reviews developer should have all the information necessary to realize they need to make serious corrections to the UI.

Waouh ! Vous avez changé de développeurs ou quoi ? Cette mise à jour est un énorme bond en avant.

Le planétarium est évidemment la nouveauté la plus visible, mais ce qui m’a le plus impressionné, c’est le souci du détail. Le mode Picture in Picture est tout simplement génial, ce sont ces petites attentions qui font la différence.

En plus, je n’ai plus aucun problème de connexion avec mon Odyssey Pro. Enfin une application à la hauteur de l’excellent télescope !

Merci à toute l’équipe, et bravo pour ce travail !

I have been able to take great photos of galaxies and planets with this scope. Really enjoy using it. The automated image stacking is very well done. App is very natural to use.                           FEATURE REQUEST *** I really wish it had the option, when controlling/viewing the scope, to make the scope connect to my local wi-fi (rather than having to connect my iPad to the scope's own broadcast wi-fi). This would mean my iPad was still able to also access the internet, and also the iPad wouldn't have to be so close to the scope itself.
