Universal mounting kit does not come with a saddle mount. Smart lights have been on the charger all day in their case and are still not charged. Software update is impossible. For the money I spent on this junk, I regret it. I’m sending the smart lights back for a refund. Absolutely ridiculous and frustrating!!! **Developer response:** We’re very sorry for the frustrating experience. The Smart Light Mount Pack does include a saddle mount, so if yours was missing, we’d definitely like to look into this and make it right. App is awful. Will not allow me to set up crash alert. Enter information but it will not let me save it. Have turned helmet and app off. Turned off phone. Deleted app and downloaded again. The controls don’t work. The organization is just backwards and you can’t just set the light settings. There’s all these modes and they and the settings don’t save after you save them. I cannot for the life of me figure out how to get my rear light to blink red ### 4/5 — Great Hardware; V3 Finally Works! *2026-06-15* I got my Faro with the original kickstarter and now have a new one after the first suffered a crash—and the emergency contact feature worked as intended. The latest v3 of the app was broken for me on all my iOS devices, but the 9 June ‘26 update has fixed all the off-screen UI elements that kept me and others from saving changes to helmet settings. Chatbot insists iOS version 26.4 is not valid and the email help has not responded. The help is very slow but eventually responded. I changed the review from one to three stars after it was sorted. They keep sending messages asking me to review further. 3 stars because support was too slow. ### 1/5 — No support!!!! *2026-06-05* Trying to set up my new helmet & turn signal… part is to put in your email address and they are to “verify”. Except they NEVER send an email! I have tried 2 different email addresses. I have reached out online. Their support is basically only by email and they “will get back to me with in 24 business hours”. So they have 3 days. I get an email, respond & then have to wait AGAIN FOR 24 business hours!!!! The latest update still has elements of the UI fall off-screen and it's basically unusable on my iOS devices. Wish their app support was as good as the physical product team's :( ### 1/5 — Great hardware; horrible software *2026-05-15* I got a Faro helment from Unit1’s kickstarter campaign and replaced it recently after a crash. The original app worked just fine; the second version—which I ran some dev on testflight—was just on par with v1 when Unit1 release v3 this Spring… and we’re back to square one. The new version is unusable. UI elements fall offscreen; when you try to customize light settings, you can’t confirm them as the `discard change’s popup answers are off the bottom…Uhg.
