I have been with this bank for over 20 years, and have exclusively used united bank for all my banking needs since the young age of 18. The only reason to download this app is to be able to say that you got the opportunity to use the most frustrating app available. Use any other bank that exists and you will be happier than this experience. ### 3/5 — User Interface needs work *2023-05-26, version 22.2.200* Constant issues with the user interface, issues with being locked out of the account with Face ID and password input. Undisputed least enjoyable mobile banking app ### 2/5 — Too many password changes! *2023-04-11, version 22.2.200* It seems that every 2 weeks or so it will log me out of my account on my phone-but when I use my FaceID to fill in my saved password, it locks me out of my account! This has happened so many times that I’m having to reset my password like once a month. Even worse, the reset password tools on the app don’t ever load, so I have to close the app and go to the not-mobile-friendly website. I just don’t understand why my FaceID saved password, which is updated EVERY TIME, logs me out of my own account? Now I have a hard time remembering what the password even is because I have changed it so many times, and you can’t use previous passwords, so I always have to come up with a new one. Extremely frustrating. I deleted and reinstalled the app with no changes. ### 2/5 — Worst App and Bank *2023-03-06, version 22.2.40* At least twice a month I am blocked out of my account and am forced to call into support where I am sucked into an hour long phone call just so I can reset my password. THE WORST BANK IN MICHIGAN. Literally have no idea why I am still associated with these bums. Constant inconveniences because of them and it is at my expense. It will sign me out without notice and then tell me my password is wrong even that I know with 100% certainty that it IS right. Then it will lock me out Until I call the United bank support line. ### 1/5 — Worst update ever *2021-10-08, version 21.1.30* I have been with United Bank for over 30 years, and got your app from the beginning, but this recent update and you claim is for security reasons has a phone number that says Sunnyvale California calling me with a verification code I thought My Banks said United Bank of Michigan, if you can't hire a company out of Michigan to send verification code to a bank that is only in Michigan then maybe I need to find a new bank because this is a bunch of crap. ### 1/5 — Not Good 👎🏻 *2021-05-28, version 20.2.80* I have been locked out of this app 3 times. The bank always has issues with their ATMs. The app always has issues and you can’t check your balance unless you call or go to the bank personally.
