### 2/5 — Cumbersome and needs improvements

THE GOOD: I actually like the card. Once you make a transfer one time FROM YOUR BANK APP (I have Capital One), the rest will only take one day to reach the United Debit account. If you have Apple Pay, you instantly add money to your card from you Apple Cash. So I haven’t had any problems putting money on the card. And it’s fun to see the miles increase (when they finally do.)

THE BAD:
The app does not show you how many miles you’ve received per transaction. Doesn’t show it in the app; and it doesn’t even give you total for the month on the bank statement!! You have to literally calculate each transaction for yourself, then add it up to see if you received the miles. Which is extremely hard to do because the miles take DAYS to be adding to the miles tracker. So there no way to know what or if you’ve actually received mikes from all your qualified tractions. 
THIS NEEDS TO CHANG!!! Show what we’ve earned per transaction in the app AND on the statements.

This app is ridiculous! Every time I upgrade it continuously gives me an error to “upgrade to use the app”. The card itself is ridiculous too! They’ve locked it multiple times for usual transactions that I’ve done. They locked me also when I tried booking a delta flight. They were probably just angry that I went with a better airline. They also lied. When I considered this I checked to see if there were foreign transaction fees. It said no, only to find that they do charge fees.

### 1/5 — Stopped Earning Miles 5/26 No Support

In May 2026, after earning almost 13k miles my account stopped earning miles. No explanation. Multiple calls to both United and United Debit. I continue to make the identical recurring transaction that used to earn me 700 miles/month. No miles for my average account balance. Monthly statements lack information about miles accrual. Also had issues where the monthly fee was deducted automatically even when I was over the account minimum. Not sure this card is worth.

The premise of this card is solid. I’ve used it a ton since I got it. However, don’t expect to be able to use it to transfer money via Apple Pay, Venmo, cash app, PayPal, etc. The bank this card uses flags it as fraud, and the customer service agents can’t seem to comprehend the problem.

### 1/5 — Don’t bother!!!

This bank and this account is one of THE worst I have ever opened!!! They asked me to send in a copy of my ID for verification and I did, they let me use the account for 2-3 months just to turn around and block me using the account all of a sudden and to say they needed ID again and a phone bill because they couldn’t verify me! They will hold any monies you have in the account and take over 2 weeks to send an email to say what the problem is, not a letter via the mail and then proceed to say it will take another 3-4 weeks to send me my money back after they’ve been holding it for 2 weeks now if I just have the account closed and charge me a $5 fee for closing the account. This whole rollout for this rewards debit account has been nothing but one problem after another and clearly was not thoroughly vetted or thought out before presenting it to the public. Don’t waste your time with this, either get the credit card or book a flight for points or either shop through the UA portal but for the love of everything, steer clear of their checking account, oh and lastly, those bonus 10k points are a joke too.

I am having issues with seeing my account when I go to reset my password the screen is absolutely white and it does not give me the option to move forward even when I hear the cache and the history

Literally cannot reset my password.  The page goes white even on the app.  I tried on multiple web browsers and as well and cleared my cache.  Everytime I call I am on hold forever and I do not have that kind of time.  I even live chatted and the guy said he would send me to the right people then they didn't even answer my questions.  United if you see this, is there someone who I can sene screenshots of my chat to?  The person straight up didn't read my messages.

The app is very slow and not user friendly.  If you try to transfer money to a different bank there is a 2 day hold and no Zelle( I assume they don’t want to pay for it). Overall much better options for banking and then just link your cards to your mileage account to get points.  This bank is trash
