## What is UnitTrace?

UnitTrace helps tenants, small landlords, and short-term rental hosts create local rental condition evidence records before move-in, move-out, repairs, or routine inspections.

Build a clear evidence workflow:

- Start a move-in, move-out, or general inspection
- Capture photos or add text notes by room
- Keep timestamp, location status, and SHA-256 photo hashes with each record
- Collect tenant and landlord signatures
- Generate a PDF evidence report and JSON manifest
- Share exported files through the iOS share sheet

Privacy-first by design:
- No account required
- Photos are not uploaded by UnitTrace
- Properties, photos, signatures, PDF reports, and JSON manifests stay on your device unless you choose to share them
- Camera, Photos, and Location permissions are used only for evidence capture and optional metadata
