Unsure what is going on but I have had to reset my password 3 times in the last month. If I do not use the app and go straight to the webpage my account does not get locked out. It’s ridiculous at this point. ### 4/5 — Slow to load *2025-08-21, version 4018.0.0* I’ve noticed that this app when not connected to the strongest internet will load for like 10 mins before I can open it ### 2/5 — Mobile Deposit Nonsense *2025-04-02, version 4016.0.1* I have tried twice to do a mobile deposit and both were held up. The first one was declined, and it stated I did not write “ For mobile deposit only” on the check. I did however check the box next to the preprinted “Check box for mobile/remote deposit” which in the past has been sufficient. It asked me to hand write and resubmit. Again, it was declined. It should not be this difficult. ### 5/5 — United to my priorities *2024-11-16, version 4013.2.0* I have all my accounts united in one place. That makes it easy to check on my priorities and bring me peace of mind. ### 4/5 — Bank Fraud *2024-09-12, version 4013.2.0* I have had many unauthorized charges to my checking account at Unitus most recently relating to yoga and Uber eats charges based in San Francisco!! Wouldn’t recommend going to Unitus for fear of criminal activity… ### 3/5 — Needlessly requires ID verification for internal transfers *2024-08-12, version 4013.2.0* I have liked this app for the most but am not at all happy with it recently requiring verification by code sent my phone when I make an internal transfer from one of my accounts to another. First, if I’m not who I’m supposed to be, I should not have been allowed to log in. Second, what big threat is there involved in me moving money from one of my Unitus accounts to another? A thief is not going to get anything out of that. I can see maybe requiring it for an external transfer. But creating a roadblock for internal transfers just makes no sense no matter how you try to slice it. ### 2/5 — Ugh *2024-07-18, version 4013.2.0* They keep changing it for the worse. Stop. Please, it’s me! ### 1/5 — No longer user friendly *2024-05-08, version 4012.2.0* I used to love this app, but sometime in the last couple of months there’s been an update or something else has changed that now logs me out almost immediately after logging in. This is not a session time out due to inactivity. We’re taking 10-30 seconds after logging in. I brought this to Unitus’ attention and the work around is to close down all of my other apps before I use the Unitus app. Needless to say I don’t always remember to do this. Then mid-transaction I get logged out and have to start over. Not a great experience. I also did not like the update they did years ago to their logo and the app altogether. Unitus used to be a great credit union, and a better option than major banking institutions, but they fell off somewhere and I’m not sure when they’ll get it together. I wish I could end my business with them now. ### 1/5 — Worst ever *2025-10-20, version 4018.1.1* Worst banking app I’ve ever used. The remember me function never works, has a “human check” that only works half the time and have to close the app and reopen it. ### 1/5 — Bugs with password manager *2025-04-13, version 4016.2.2* The app is not setup properly for the password manager. ### 1/5 — Garbage if you need to work with external accounts *2025-01-05, version 4013.2.0* So sick of this app. It seems to be designed to be the most frustrating run-around experience possible when it comes to transferring money between itself and external accounts. I literally only use it because my car loan is here with a currently unbeatable interest rate. It does not recognize my US Bank accounts as valid transfer destinations despite linking and relinking and relinking them four times. I can’t depend on Unitus to actually receive transferred funds from US Bank when I need to pay my car loan, so I use the Cash app to put money in there and take it out to Unitus instantly because Square actually designed a system that works. I cannot wait to be rid of this app and account. ### 1/5 — Face recognition !!!!! *2024-10-19, version 4013.2.0* When are you going to start using face recognition for the password ???? You are behind the times !! I am seriously thinking about changing banks because I have so many problems with signing in with the passwords !! With this Credit Union. I have had to change it a few times ! Seriously !!! I hate trying to log in this account And I have 3 banks and I don’t have any problems with the other 2 banks !!! I will just take out my $30,000.00 plus dollars out of this Credit Union !!!!!!! When I try to create a password with the “requirements” that are needed I see a red box around it and I’m unable to create a password. ### 1/5 — Locked out completely *2024-07-19, version 4013.2.0* Do NOT check the “I am Human” verification box. The app will glitch and never let you “refresh” to sign the disclosure. Never had an issue with this app until I accidentally did that and now I cannot login on the app or online. Meanwhile, the “forgot username” feature does not work. And the “forgot password” feature does not work without your username. Now I have to waste time on a phone call or in person to try and figure this out. The mobile check deposit feature is a plus too, if you have a check to deposit and no interest in going to the ATM. I’ve never had an issue with the app, and appreciate how it lets you know days in advance if there will be scheduled maintenance — providing a clear timeframe and sticking to it precisely. I use the app daily, as I prefer to keep the majority of my funds in savings and only transfer to my checking account whenever I’m making a purchase. Transfers are instantaneous, and summaries for each account are easy to follow. 10/10 would recommend the app and the credit union itself. Wonderful staff, if you ever have to go in branch. Super kind, helpful, and the best customer care style I’ve experienced from any bank.
