Why would you have to pay for an App that controls the A/C from your phone. It’s the principle not the cost. A one time fee may make it more understandable. 
As far as the A/C unit. Works awesome and very pleased with it.

I bought this app thinking it might work like a remote control. It only works if you have a WiFi enabled A/C unit. Tried to get a refund and can’t. 

Don’t buy if you’re just testing it to see if it works. Find another product with better reviews.

Why should I pay without even know that your app is working they ask you to pay first and the app may or may not work they should let the user try forest and if it work with air condition then they buy the app but they don’t even need to try and test which is very suspicious and are scamming behaviour
