### 1/5 — No Ads Please

*2024-05-01, version 4.4*

This app is to access a Government site for those apply or holding Universal Credit accounts, people on low income! I am being bamboozled by ‘notification’ messages taking me to the app to view ads. Receipt of notifications is communication with DWP not to view ads encouraging subscriptions for ‘phone cleans’ when the user is on low income. Please remove all ads from the app unless it’s DWP service related and for notifications to be notifications regarding the app users Universal Credit account.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — A universal failing

*2025-04-23, version 5.0*

This APP is absolutely awful. There are ads after ads after ads which have no relevance & are of no interest.
For a Government App, who I would have imagined have spent thousands on developing it, you have failed & failed miserably.
Sort it out, people who need to use this APP have limited funds & need to get to the information they are after quickly.
Absolutely dismal,

### 1/5 — Can’t log in

*2024-10-31, version 4.9*

Cannot log in threw the app since updated. There is no option to log in.

### 1/5 — A government app shouldn’t have ads

*2024-10-19, version 4.7*

I pay for taxes and everything else, I shouldn’t have to be subjected to rubbish ads which are only games to download. Everytime I want to go into the app, watch a gaming ad. Want to access anything on the app, watch a gaming ad. It’s stupid. Maybe use some of my taxes and pay for these ads to stop!!
Notifications are constant to my phone to join UC app, which duh I clearly have because it’s notifying me through the app you’re constantly saying to download.

### 1/5 — Fake app

*2024-10-01, version 4.5*

Nie używać!! Fake app

### 1/5 — FAKE APP - NOT AFFILIATED WITH DWP - DO NOT DOWNLOAD

*2024-10-01, version 4.5*

This App is fake. Is being used to flood user with Ads and potentially steal data. DWP have been informed and are working to have it removed. Do not download!

### 1/5 — Mr

*2024-09-21, version 4.5*

this is a fake app no goverment app would be showing the amount off adds this app does share

### 1/5 — Adds

*2024-09-17, version 4.5*

There shouldn’t be any adds or a cost to remove them , this app is for people on very low income so stop the charge

### 1/5 — Frustration

*2024-09-05, version 4.5*

I thought getting the Universal Credit app would help. Unfortunately, it’s more of an annoyance due to all the adverts. To look at messages takes a lot longer.
Might as well wait and check via my laptop

Also, how can you charge for ads to be removed. People are on Universal Credit for a reason and can’t afford to pay for them to be removed

### 1/5 — No advertising please

*2024-07-09, version 4.5*

I completely agree with the other reviewer what is the point of these adverts aimed at people with low income really stupid.

The adverts also get in the way of using the app.

I think if you can incorporate face recognition would really benefit this app!

### 1/5 — Aaaarrrggghhhh

*2024-05-30, version 4.4*

Constant ‘pop up ads’ :( thumbs down from me!

## Most praised reviews (2 highest-rated)

### 2/5 — Adds

*2025-10-15, version 5.2*

Having adds is fine but when it takes 10 minutes just to log in is a bit too much

### 2/5 — Taz

*2025-10-15, version 5.2*

This app does not need all these ads I agree with the other reviews in my iPhone 12 Pro I could login why cannot that happen now please fix the login on this app please
