My Remote Keeps Disappearing And So Does Your Support! *2024-08-27, version 4.0* This app was like a superhero swooping in to save the day when the remote went AWOL or the batteries croaked. Annoying ads? I handled those with a small fee—totally worth it. But now, it's like the app has taken up ghosting as a hobby. Disconnects have become so frequent, I’m considering installing a revolving door on my TV connection. Now it’s gone full Houdini and won’t connect at all. I've tried every trick in the book—scanning like it’s a treasure hunt, hard resets, even turning my phone off and on like a caveman rebooting his fire. And for some reason, my 5th email to customer support seems to be stuck in the same Bermuda Triangle as the app. Help? ### 5/5 — So we’ll *2023-01-15, version 3.1* This literally saved me a few touches and I was done 10/10 recommend ### 5/5 — Concern *2022-12-07, version 3.1* App is excellent, but there’s a issue of being required to purchase it numerous times for each different iPhone, or iPad. Please fix this issue. I had pay twice for premium app version: one for my iPhone and my mom’s iPad. I’m ain’t going third time, or fourth for my other iPhone, Ave iPad. That’s too much now!! I think it might be a app software issue on the developers part. Please reach out to me. ### 2/5 — Annoying Ads *2022-08-09, version 3.1* The app works good but for every 4 clicks you get an ad and takes another 2-3 clicks to get rid of it once the time has lapse. I just wanted to evaluate it while waiting for my real remote to come in but just too annoying. It’s nice to use the phone app but really doesn’t replace old reliable remote. This is good as a backup but not worth paying the fees. ### 2/5 — Video Ads!!!! *2022-07-31, version 3.1* I have been using this app for over a week. The whole reason I got it was because it says “no video ads” and “no subscriptions”. Everything was working fine until I woke up yesterday and it suggested a subscription. Thinking nothing of it, I closed the ad and went to turning on and watching the tv. Now, every 3 button presses prompts a video ad (the same one over and over) and the only way to get rid of it is to purchase a subscription. Way to go back on your word… Will definitely be deleting this. Only reason I gave it 2 stars vs 1 is because it does work. But if I’m trying to go from volume 20 to volume 8 in the middle of the night to avoid waking others, I have to wait through 4 ads before getting there. And heaven forbid I decide to watch something else afterwards. ### 5/5 — It’s a great app! *2022-06-14, version 3.1* It’s a little glitchy but overall it’s amazing👌! I needing this app and I’m so glad it works though if you want control of more than one you need to pay but that’s fair and very easy! 😆😃 it doesn’t freeze or pop up ads don’t show that much sooo I’m happy! 😃 ### 2/5 — Not for two TVs *2022-03-08, version 3.1* I have a Samsung 75” tv and a Samsung 65” tv. The remote works perfectly for the 75” tv. I can add the second 65” tv without a problem. I cannot however turn on the tv without using my regular remote to approve the connection. What good is this remote if I have to have the regular remote by my side to authorize access. I tried the tv device connection settings with zero success. Disappointing. ### 5/5 — Absolutely love this app *2022-01-22, version 3.1* This is the only app I’ve ever purchased for my iPhone (I’m that cheap 😅). I must say it absolutely nails the functionality with great UI. It supports many features that most TVs offer, and I love how responsive it is and how little input lag it has. Only suggestion I have for the developer is to implement changing TV volume with the press of volume buttons on my phone (or turning the dial on my watch). This is of course assuming iOS allows such functionality to be implemented. ### 1/5 — SCAM!!!! Terrible app tracker! *2022-01-20, version 3.1* Does nothing but connect your phone to your Roku stick and do what else but at the the very least ruining what tv you’re going to be interested in plus…….it didn’t work. ### 3/5 — Few taps of a button ad *2021-12-13* Hello I would like to tell you that when I press any button 5 times it shows me an ad and I really don’t like that it’s very annoying, I would like you to add every 15 buttons that have been pressed, it would show up an ad and I just wish that you can skip the ad instantly I think it would be better for the app and for the other people reviewing this app. So I give this 3/5 stars. It worked perfectly for 4 years, but now it won’t connect at all. I’ve tried all troubleshooting steps—reinstalling the app, restarting devices, checking Wi-Fi, even manual IP—but nothing works. Very frustrating. This needs to be fixed or rolled back. ### 1/5 — Video Ads *2026-02-14, version 4.1* No video ads? Wrong. With the latest update you get 3 taps of the remote before an intrusive full screen video ad plays. I wish I had installed this app sooner, I wasted so much money on remotes that would break. As a Sony tv remote, this gives you all button functionality and even has a more page for buttons the regular remote doesn’t have.
