I tried this app and it did not work with my TV. It said it worked with Samsung, but it did not.

If a payment is needed to run the app, you might as well not make it free initially to download. 

Also no one in their right mind is paying 15 British sterling pounds every year to have a remote, you might as well get a solar panel remote for the price of 10 and never have to buy batteries again
