## What is Universal Zoom?

The universe is endlessly vast. A single atom is impossibly small. And somewhere between those two extremes lies everything that has ever existed.
We believe that feeling — the electric, spine-tingling sense of scale — belongs to everyone. Not just scientists. Not just students. Everyone.
That's why we built Universal Zoom.

WHAT YOU CAN DO
 • Zoom seamlessly from the Planck length to the edge of the observable universe — about 300 objects presented to perfect scale.
 • Compare any two objects side by side: how many Earths fit inside Jupiter? How does a virus measure up against a skyscraper? Instant, visual, intuitive. (No other scale app lets you do this.)
 • Go deeper with audio narration and short, accessible explanations — the facts that matter, in plain language.

WHAT YOU'LL EXPLORE
 • Elementary particles — quarks, leptons, and bosons. Atomic nuclei, atoms, and DNA. Living cells. Animals and landmarks. Planets, stars, and galaxies. A deep dive into physics, biology, and astronomy — with short, plain-language articles that make even particle physics easy to grasp — in 40 languages, with metric, imperial, or powers-of-ten units.
 • Real high-resolution photos and electron microscope images, where possible. Original artwork for things that can't be photographed — like elementary particles and DNA structures.
 • No ads. No in-app purchases. Pure discovery.

BUILT WITH YOU
We're a team of two (Andrey and Oksana) from Canada who have poured a decade into this app because we genuinely love science. Most objects come from community suggestions — carefully fact-checked and updated with every new discovery. Over 200 more are already in the queue.

FOR EDUCATORS
Used by teachers worldwide to visualize scale, build measurement intuition, and turn abstract numbers into "aha" moments. Available at 50% off for schools via Apple School Manager (20+ copies).

### 5/5 — Please Add

*2026-08-13, version 3.0*

Would You Like More Continents, Countrys, States, Or Distances Like Proxima Centauri Or Andormeda Galaxy? Also Thanks For Feedback On My Moms Phone Since I’m Not A Adult. (Not Telling You My Age). Also Titanic! (And Other Ships).
2:
Why Did You Not Add VY Canis Majoris!
Remember When I Told You To Add VY Canis Majoris? It’s Update 3.0 And…. No VY Canis Majoris! And My Requests! Anyway Like The Subatomic Particles. Thanks For That! Also: Happy Update 3.0. Happy Update 3.0. Like Your App… Is 3 Years Old!. 3: More Stuff. I Want More Stuff! Probably Asteroids Under 1 km, Meteorites, Stars, Galaxies, Clusters, And More. (If You Don’t Add These Stuff I Understand That They Come In Later Updates.) See Ya

### 5/5 — Immer noch die beste App…

*2026-07-31*

… ihrer Gattung. Wird regelmäßig gepflegt und neue Objekte kommen hinzu. Good Job!
Vielen Dank an den Entwickler

**Developer response:** Vielen herzlichen Dank für deine tolle Bewertung! 😃

### 5/5 — You’re the best updater

*2026-07-27, version 3.0*

Make sure to get on all devices thanks and don’t forget to add Planet X tadpole galaxy virgo cluster multiverse anycolus galaxy sombrero galaxy messier 87 messier 87 black hole and string theory and quantum foam and add dutrium and tritum and make sure to get the update ready thanks for update 3.1

### 5/5 — Can ya add more?

*2026-07-27, version 3.0*

Can you add some things like: Sombrero Galaxy, an apple, banana, and Planet 9 (a hypothetical planet in the outskirts of our solar system and is estimated to take 10,000 to make a single orbit around the sun) please? Your app is really good nonetheless!

Sorry I had to edit again:
There’s something in space that’s located 14 million light years away called Cloud 9. Astronomers think it’s a failed galaxy. It’s pinkish-purple in colour and mostly made of gas and dark matter. It is estimated to be about 4,900 light years across.

Another edit:
Can you add a toggle where it can change between Creation and evolution? Between the Bible and science? Between Creation and the big bang? Between thousands of years and billions of years?

Otherwise that, may God the Father, Jesus the Son, and the Holy Spirit/Ghost (The Trinity, three Persons in one) bless you in the production of your brand new application coming later this year! Accept Jesus as your Saviour, which will allow Him to dwell in your heart, you will, for certain, go to Heaven and live with Yelweh \'yäl•wā\ (God's real Name, but we call Him "God" to show respect).

### 2/5 — Why a Tesla?

*2026-07-27, version 3.0*

We know how hated this brand has become, and why. Please use a different vehicle, something classic and respected. Seeing this choice leads me to not bring up this app when people ask about my faves. It is one. But I won’t say so.

### 5/5 — 建议

*2026-07-27*

希望增加一些与波长有关的内容

**Developer response:** 感谢您的评价和建议！
我们确实已经把波长相关的对象列入了后续更新的计划中，会尽量优先安排，争取在下一次更新中加入。

### 5/5 — This fun

*2026-07-26, version 3.0*

*****Just an update July 26 they still update an add to the app it’s great! ********
This is an app that does what it says and is really a lot of fun to compare everything.. I see other people saying it’s a game. I’m not sure if it’s a game I think I’m missing something if it is. But it is fun! Job well done!

Still great app and they are still adding to it!!

### 5/5 — Important Research

*2026-07-21, version 2.9.1*

What is the 5th object in your update that is bigger than subatomic/atomic particles? How could you know that? What day in July’s end will you release v3.0?

### 5/5 — For v3.0 and GamifyIt research

*2026-07-16, version 2.9.1*

What date in July’s end will you release v3.0 for this app? How many bigger objects will you add in a “handful”?

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 3.0 — 2026-07-25

Version 3.0 is our biggest expansion of the Physics part of the app yet.
• A whole new kind of object — point particles like quarks, leptons and bosons. Having no measurable size, they stay put as you zoom instead of growing or shrinking.
• 39 objects added or significantly improved — point particles, plus more atomic nuclei and atoms, and a handful of larger objects too.
• Particle physics is a tricky topic, so we added 5 short articles that explain it in a simple, easy-to-follow way — with many more articles to come.
• We improved the information for many objects, refreshed the images for several of them, and polished translations and voice-over pronunciation.
• We fine-tuned the soundtrack volume based on your feedback.
Thank you for your continued feedback — it truly helps make Universal Zoom better with every update!

### 2.9.1 — 2026-05-18

In this minor update, we focused on polishing the app based on your feedback.
• Fixed and improved many translations
• Resolved various minor UI layout issues
• Enhanced images for several objects
New additions:
• Artemis II
• Falcon Heavy
• UY Scuti (returned with updated measurements based on your votes on YouTube and TikTok)
We also added a stunning new image of Earth taken by the Artemis II crew.
Thank you for your continued feedback — it truly helps make Universal Zoom better with every update!

### 2.9 — 2026-03-02

We’re thrilled to announce full support for 40 languages! The app is now translated end-to-end, including all explanations and audio narration. If anything feels off or could sound more natural in your language, please let us know—we’ll fix it quickly. Your feedback makes Universal Zoom better for everyone!
We’ve added 18 exciting new objects, chosen from your top community suggestions:
• Range of the Weak Nuclear Force
• Range of the Strong Nuclear Force
• Electron Microscope Resolution Limit
