In a bizarre bazaar, there's a worried woman crafting entire universes in the palm of her hand.

Universe for Sale is a hand-drawn adventure game set in the dense clouds of Jupiter, where sapient orangutans work as dockhands and mysterious cultists strip the flesh from their bones in order to reach enlightenment.

Explore all the nooks and crannies of a ramshackle colony on Jupiter. Rickety tea houses, strange oddity shops, and overworked mechanics garages abound in the picturesque and infamous shantytown that's cropped up around the abandoned mine. Every new face, whether human, simian, skeletal or robotic, has a unique story to tell as they do their best to survive the acid rain pouring down.

The nameless master, intrigued by stories of Lila's ability to create universes, finds her on a rainy night to discuss the unique power that she has. For something so awe-inspiring, she explains it like she'd explain how to brew coffee. But it isn't just the master who wants to know more about Lila, who threatens to unravel the mystery at the heart of Universe for Sale.

So, choose a cup, find some ingredients and Lila will craft a universe down to your particular specifications. Only question is: You buying?

Point and click plutôt classique avec peu d’énigme voir pas du tout mais je recommande pour l’histoire et le décors qui est proposé
J’espère voir un 2 ou un jeu dans le même univers le lore est exceptionnel
Un gros gg aux artistes les dessins sont très beau

gets stuck when visiting lila at the market for the first time after being in the cafe, so right in the beginning. game crashes, reloads but always gets stuck at same point. no way of progressing (ipad pro)

Might be good but more bugs than a methhouse kitchen.  Had to watch the YouTube walkthrough to know what the game was supposed to be doing

The only good thing about the game is the art. Other than that, waaaaay too much dialogue. You spend 90% of the time just reading dialogue, I couldn’t get through the entire game, especially when it crashes and you have to re-“play” sections having to read through the same dialogue.

Das Spiel ist ein wunderbarer Comic. Und darin liegt schon das Problem. Spiel oder Comicbuch? Da es beides sein will, wird es beidem nicht ganz gerecht. 

Es ist richtig geil gezeichnet-aber die Zeichnungen sind viel zu komplex und zu unklar, um sich zum Spielen zu eignen. Die Hälfte der Zeit rate ich nur, ob was nu wirklich rin Eingang ist und ob da nun eine 2 oder 3 steht und was das da hinten wohl ist?

Die Geschichte und Charakteren sind so mehrdimensional, so interessant und jeder ist so sehr er /sie selber, dass man richtig in das Spieluniversum eintaucht. Jede Äußerung jeder Figur ist stimmig mit seiner Persönlichkeit und mit dem Gesamt-Universum des Spiels.

Die Idee des Ganzen, eine Person, die Universen erschaffen kann, ist bemerkenswert umgesetzt.

Und neben all dem sind dann ein paar Minispiele über das Spiel versprenkelt, aber das Ganze dann deshalb als „Spiel“ zu deklarieren ist schon …sehr, sehr optimistisch.

Das klingt als wäre es nicht wert es zu spielen. Dass es das dennoch ist, zeigt wie gut das Ganze in Wahrheit ist. Tatsächlich hab ich es nicht einmal, sondern zweimal gespielt. Direkt hintereinander, weil es beim 1.Mal zu viel war, um alles richtig aufzunehmen und zu verstehen.

Nebenbei gesagt: Ich hatte keine technischen Probleme mit dem Spiel

I really enjoyed this game, especially the storyline and characters that were so unusual and unique.  Think I understood the ending but I might have missed something, the idea of universe building was really enjoyable and I wish you did this more throughout the game. I did find it a bit lacking in puzzles which with more would have made it my perfect game but it’s meant to be story driven and it definitely excels at this. I hope ppl support this game as originality is so important.
