I’ve updated literally everywhere on my phone they even bypass all of my focus settings. Ridiculous. The group I follow uses it regularly but I miss them every time. Just follow fan translation accounts on twt at this point, you’ll be just as up to date. The update has improved loading speed but not much else. Message restrictions are severe, auto translations are not working at all. You can’t copy text to paste into a 3rd party translator. Out of the kpop apps this is the absolute worst one. Please get it together or don’t charge for any of it. ### 1/5 — Please fix having trouble logging in with gmail *2022-10-01, version 1.1.2* What is wrong with logging in using gmail acc. it said according to policy 2 blah blah and you need to fix this asap! Nothing seems to work ### 1/5 — trouble with sign in *2022-09-21, version 1.1.2* everytime i try to sign in it shows a white screen saying agree to terms but there not a single button to click HELP ### 1/5 — horrible, dysfunctional app *2022-09-09, version 1.1.1* where do i start! for weeks i have been unable to select a membership subscription, and once i FINALLY could it doesn't work. how? well i purchased the subscription and even got the confirmation email, but in the app it tells me i have no membership. and then even when i try to select the membership to purchase, it says that i already have one under this account! i have tried manually adjusting in the app store, clicking resore purchases in the app, and even deleting and redownloading universe. nothing has worked and i am extremely frustrated as i just wanted to buy a membership and this app appears to be fully dysfunctional in every possible way. FIX YOUR APP. ### 2/5 — The old version was frustrating, but now… *2022-08-31, version 1.1.1* The update has made things so much worse. I’ve enabled notifications everywhere possible within the app and on my phone and still nothing. The auto translations on private message are RIDICULOUS (which they were before) but now you can’t even copy the text and paste into a 3rd party app to get a better translation. Half the messages end up coming across as total gibberish. The second star is ONLY because ATEEZ does seem to use the app and interact through private message regularly. ### 1/5 — Won’t Work *2022-08-14, version 1.1.1* I decided to download this app because I heard one of my favorite Korean Actors joined and it won’t even work!! I tried a few days ago with my Apple ID, wouldn’t let me get pass entering my birthday, so tried with my Google Account and wouldn’t go pass the ‘Terms and Conditions’ page… so I tried again today and it’s the same thing! I’ve messaged Universe on Twitter and they haven’t responded… how do you expect people to use your app if you won’t even allow some of us to use it?! This is extremely disappointing because as an American, I love apps that allow me to get my Korean fix, whether it’s shows, music or apps that allow social interaction… ### 1/5 — No casting support *2022-08-13, version 1.1.1* I’m very disappointed that there are no casting option on the iPhone. When you try the screen sharing option, it blocks the video. Only the audio is available which is annoying because my phone is small and would like to view it bigger on the TV. ### 1/5 — Unable to cast *2022-08-13, version 1.1.1* I actually prefer the older version of the app. The new version is harder to navigate through. AND!!! Why can’t you allow your app to be casted on bigger screens? I think fans would very much enjoy the content on a bigger screen than on tiny phones. But that means I have to log in again. I’ve tried many times, and each time after choosing a sign in option it seems to work but then an error message “a temporary error has occurred, pls try again” appears. Or I’ll get past that stage fine but the “enter a nickname” page glitches and tells me first “nickname is available” but won’t let me hit “next” and it changes to “cant use nickname”, so I’m stuck. Please fix this so I can access the content of the app. ### 2/5 — Subtitles *2022-07-20, version 1.0.4* The new update is not allowing me to see the subtitles. I’ve tried to switch on subtitles but it won’t allowed me. It’s really frustrating. I’m thinking about canceling my subscription because there’s no point to pay when I can’t understand what the idols are talking about ### 1/5 — Won’t Log In *2022-07-18, version 1.0.4* Like other users, I am unable to login with my iPhone. I even upgraded to the latest iOS and it still didn’t work. Keep getting a white screen with: 이용약관 동의 (Accept terms and conditions), but there’s nothing to click on. Been trying to login these past several weeks so I can view the upcoming ASTRO content, but no go. I’m so disappointed! I have tried from multiple apps for over a week and the page to even purchase a membership will not load ### 1/5 — QR Scanner? Don't think so. *2023-01-19, version 1.3.1* The only reasons I got this app were for the messages and the QR codes I get in my ATEEZ and Monsta X albums. However, I firstly had problems scanning them as they would send me to Safari saying to download the app rather than open the app in the first place? After some research someone posted online to "Go to a planet, tap Collection, then Archive, lastly See More." And that there should be a QR scanner button. BUT IT DOES NOT EXIST. What's the point of the QR reward codes if it doesn't even freaking work or exist? Fix this issue, because I no longer do the messaging portion of the app, therefore the only reason I'd keep the app is the QR codes. ### 1/5 — Absolutely ridiculous *2022-11-29, version 1.2.0* Cannot log in got kicked out of my account. Everytime i try to, a message pops up saying “A temporary error has occurred. Please try again”. Been trying to reach out customer service, second time i did they told me to wait for 7 days if i didn’t get a response then get back to them. I did and they said “we hace checked and it may take some time to find and fix the issue clearly, once the ckecking is complete, we will guide you with extra answer with this ticket” which of course, has not happened yet. Unbelievable since I’m paying money for it and it won’t let me log in. FIX YOUR BUGGY APP ### 1/5 — Invisible customer service *2022-10-31, version 1.2.0* The app is so expensive with the amount of bugs they have. I'm just using the free trial right now to test it out but I'm frustrated that there's no English subtitles on Universe originals. Specifically Monsta X's Area 51 and Speak Out Monsta X. I would like t continue subscribing after the trial ends (may even upgrade before that) but I need subtitles for the purchase to make sense. The sub price really isn’t it worth it for what content there is in my case. The app itself is slow…frustratingly slow actually. A few months ago my membership disappeared even though I was still paying for it, so I had to cancel it and repurchase it again. Then the little things are so difficult to do, too. It won’t access my photos and sends me to settings when I’m trying to set my profile picture, even though I’m set to have access to my camera roll. If the app itself were faster and didn’t feel like every new page loading took twenty seconds, these things could be easily overlooked, but since maneuvering around is exhausting, everything else becomes 10x worse.
