### 4/5 — Muy buena

*2022-10-13, version 1.6.7*

Me encanta para aprender inglés, es práctica y la versión free tiene canciones suficientes para entrenar, la metodología me gusta bastante, las palabras nuevas se me quedan fácilmente. Lo único es que no se porqué no reconoce el mic de mi cel.

### 4/5 — Great app for learning a language

*2021-12-11, version 1.5.9*

Fun app. Needs for attention and more songs. But what a great way to learn another language.

### 2/5 — Disappointed

*2021-07-02, version 1.5.5*

Not enough languages to choose from and nowhere to find out which you have before signing up.

### 4/5 — Fun way to reinforce language learning

*2021-05-22, version 1.5.4*

Still needs some fine tuning, but overall great app. Catchy songs, authentic language, and easy to use. You can choose from several genres, easily see the English translation (to increase comprehension), and have fun improving your pronunciation while you sing along. As a second language teacher, I will recommend this app to my students as a way to help them develop greater fluency.

### 1/5 — Really want to like this

*2021-04-29, version 1.5.3*

It is a very cool idea but for free users you only get 5 minutes a day. Duolingo gives more time than that. The mic doesn’t pick up what you say well. I literally sang in German and said I was way off like If sentence was “ ich bin chaos” and I repeat it says I said “ ich your panther” I said nothing like that even if pronunciation was a little off ... was not that off! Also only a few song choices. Not worth it.

### 1/5 — Not enough languages

*2019-08-17, version 1.0.4*

I wanted to learn Russian but it only had 4 languages and when I chose Spanish it glitched a lot and finally settled it glitched for a full 2 hours.

### 5/5 — Amazing!!

*2019-03-17, version 1.0*

Great way to learn language

### 5/5 — !!

*2019-03-17, version 1.0*

Amazing really

### 5/5 — wow

*2019-03-17, version 1.0*

great app

### 5/5 — Great way to learn a language!

*2019-03-17, version 1.0*

I’ve been trying so hard to learn Spanish, but it never quite clicks for me. I think the idea of incorporating something most of us love (music) with language acquisition is such a good idea. It makes learning another language almost like second nature. This app is great for those of us who don’t have time to take an actual language class. This is definitely great alternative way to learn.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — It needs a lot of work.

*2023-04-15*

The app objectively looks like it was created five to ten years ago, and hasn’t been updated since. The microphone is very faulty, and when it works, it doesn’t give you enough time to repeat the whole phrase, thus, failing your attempt to succeed 2/3 of the time. I love the idea of people being able to learn a language through music, but in my judgement, this application is not the one yet.

### 1/5 — Reembolso

*2022-08-27, version 1.6.7*

Se supone que me salió opción de 7 días gratis y me cobraron enseguida un mes completo, exijo un reembolso porqué no me gusto la app y no recibí lo 7 días gratis!

### 1/5 — Not so “free”’trial.

*2022-06-30, version 1.6.6*

I downloaded this app because it was supposed to be a 1 week free trial….. and they charged my card $9 for it anyways.

### 1/5 — Terrible-No Music Choices

*2022-05-02, version 1.6.5*

Supposed to have over 300 songs but I can only access 14. Not worth the money.

### 1/5 — Free version extremely limited

*2021-12-26, version 1.6.0*

Free version is so limited it’s hard to really get enough of a feel for the app to decide if paying for a subscription is worth it. None of the songs in the free version were appealing. For the time being, I’ll stick with my current language learning app. I can probably find music on Spotify that I actually like and sing along with that.

### 1/5 — Horrible selection

*2021-12-15, version 1.6.0*

There are very few actual songs on this app and the ones that are here I guarantee you’ve never heard before.. I’ll pass. Deleted

### 1/5 — Does not offer the language I want

*2021-11-04, version 1.5.8*

I saw an ad on Facebook and got super excited and downloaded it. Then saw the languages were super limited to only four. Not including the language I wanted to learn (Japanese). Guess I’ll stick with DuoLingo for now.

### 1/5 — Doesn’t recognize your voice properly

*2021-09-19, version 1.5.7*

I know my pronunciation is correct but not a single line is transcribing right. A pointless app if it can’t do at least that much.

### 1/5 — App doesn’t work

*2021-07-06, version 1.5.5*

Doesn’t work. I don’t know why.

### 1/5 — Great idea but it doesn’t work

*2021-06-11, version 1.5.5*

I really like the idea behind this app, but when I was trying to record myself it was not recording or it was saying it was wrong when I was right or it was saying I was right when I was wrong. I don’t think the technology is quite there yet.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Love the new features - Song Search & Song Review

*2021-11-07, version 1.5.8*

Song Search & Song Speed; the former enables search by song title or artist name, while the latter allows users to filter songs by slow, medium, or fast speed

### 5/5 — Music works!

*2021-10-18, version 1.5.7*

I’ve never had a more fun way to learn a new language. Especially with someone who has lived with ADHD their whole life. This app has definitely made it more fun for me and not get as distracted. Music is the one thing that can always keep me intrigued.

### 5/5 — So unique and inspirational

*2021-10-16, version 1.5.7*

Univoice is one of the most creative and unique ideas I’ve ever heard of. Before I came across Univoice, I had tried so many different ways to learn different languages. I always got lost in the nitty gritty of repetitive word practicing and could never memorize what I needed to, to speak fluently. Univoice has been one of the most helpful apps to actually memorize the language and know how to use it in real life scenarios without wrecking my brain freezing in mid sentences! I’m so grateful for this idea. It’s changed my life and my skillset!

### 5/5 — Amazing app!

*2021-09-18, version 1.5.7*

No better way to learn a new language than through music. Great app with great music selection!

### 5/5 — I’ve always wanted an app like this one

*2020-09-24, version 1.4.2*

Finally a way to learn languages through song, Eureka! Time to brush up on some of those friendly greetings.

### 5/5 — Great app

*2020-07-30*

Way Better than Dulingo!

### 5/5 — Great App

*2019-03-17, version 1.0*

This app has a easy interface that quickly allows you to navigate the different languages and categories each one has to offer. Additionally, there are multiple genres per language, from classics to top 40, each with careful translations that show you what each phase means each step of the way.

Will definitely recommend this app!

### 5/5 — Amazing!

*2019-03-17, version 1.0*

### 5/5 — Great app

### 5/5 — Amazing app!
