## What is UnJumble?

UnJumble turns spoken thoughts into clear, useful notes.

Record a voice note, then let UnJumble transcribe it on your device, give it a sensible title, and write a concise summary. It also writes a tidied-up version of the transcript — headings, bullets and short sections, in whatever shape fits what you said — so it is already there by the time you go looking for it. Your original words are always kept alongside it.

Know what a recording is for before you make it. Hold the record button to choose what it will become, or long-press UnJumble on your Home Screen and start recording straight away. The draft is waiting the moment the recording finishes.

Turn a recording into what you need next:
• Email draft
• Message, ready to share in the app you choose
• Apple Note
• Meeting notes
• AI prompt for your preferred development tool
• To-do list

Your recordings stay organised in one searchable library, on every device you use. Play the original audio at up to 2x speed and drag to any moment in it, edit a title, copy or share the result, and return to the full transcript whenever you need it. Group the library by tag when that is how you think, or leave it by date.

Tag your recordings your way. Create the tags you use and put them on anything, as often as you like.

Not finished talking? With UnJumble Pro you can pause a recording and put it down as a draft. It is transcribed, titled and summarised straight away and marked as a draft in your library, so you can come back later, carry on recording, and let the title and summary catch up with everything you have added. Pro also tags new recordings for you — only from your own list, only when it is confident, and never inventing a tag of its own — and lets you say what each tag means, and what it should never be used for, so it follows your definition instead of guessing from the name.

UnJumble is built for the moments when typing would interrupt your flow: a thought on a walk, a follow-up after a meeting, or a quick brief before you forget it.

UnJumble Pro
The free app includes unlimited recording, transcription, titles and summaries, structured transcripts, your own tags, and search, plus three "Turn into…" drafts a day. UnJumble Pro removes the daily limit on drafts and adds automatic tagging, saved drafts, your own tag rules, and saved default styles for every kind of draft. £1.99 per month or £14.99 per year, renewing automatically unless cancelled in your Apple Account settings.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.3 — 2026-09-04

A total brand refresh

The whole app has been redrawn. UnJumble now has its own coral accent, a new icon (including dark and tinted versions that follow your home screen), glass on the player and headers, and a quieter library. Tag chips use a soft coral cream fill with a quieter muted label. A recording is Transcript, Summary and Actions. Under Transcript you can read the original words and a cleaned version. The old Structured tab is now called Detailed.

The library

Tap a tag to filter, or All to see everything. Search is a proper field. You can sort the list.

Correct a name

If UnJumble heard a name or other term wrong, Pro users can correct it. The change can reach the transcript, title, summary and detailed version, and UnJumble remembers it so later recordings are less likely to get it wrong. Ordinary words are not replaced wholesale. The original stays beside the corrected text, and you can listen again.

### 1.2.1 — 2026-08-30

Fixes a bug where continuing a recording could lose the original audio, and where a file still moving to iCloud could be marked as damaged.

### 1.2 — 2026-08-20

Know what you want before you say it? Hold the record button. Choose what a recording will become — email, message, note, meeting notes, AI prompt, or to-do list — before you start talking, and the finished draft is waiting when you tap Finish. The same choice is on your Home Screen: long-press the UnJumble icon and pick one, and the app opens already recording.

The structured version is ready before you ask for it. The tidied-up, headed and bulleted version of a transcript is now written alongside the title and summary, so the Structured tab is already filled in by the time you open it.

More screen, better used. Grouping by tag now reads as sections down the page instead of sideways-scrolling columns, and works on iPhone as well as iPad. On an iPad, opening a recording puts the "Turn into…" actions beside the transcript. Layout and filters now share one View options screen.

A plan you can say in one sentence. Everything about capturing a recording is free and unlimited: recording, transcription, titles, summaries, the structured version of the transcript, your own tags, and search. The free plan now includes three "Turn into…" drafts a day, and UnJumble Pro makes them unlimited. Automatic tagging has moved to UnJumble Pro; creating tags and applying them yourself stays free.

### 1.1 — 2026-08-11

Pause a recording and come back to it. Hold a recording and save it as a draft: it is transcribed, titled and summarised like any other, and marked in orange in your library so you can see at a glance what you left unfinished. Open it later to carry on recording or to finish it, and its title and summary are rewritten to cover everything it now contains. (UnJumble Pro)
Tell UnJumble what your tags mean. Give any tag a rule in your own words — what it covers, what it should never be used for, or both — and auto-tagging follows your definition instead of guessing from the tag's name. (UnJumble Pro)
Better playback. Drag to any moment in a recording, and tap to play at 1x, 1.25x, 1.5x, 1.75x or 2x.
A tidier recording screen. The title and summary now come first with the player beneath them, and the plain and structured transcripts sit together under one heading.
