This was and is still such an amazing game. The limited options during combat severely hamper your ability to deal damage before being overwhelmed by enemies with over 100x your squads health pool. Far too many unbalanced fights, but the enemy variety is welcome. It’s an old game and it shows. It’s not too lore heavy but gives you a story, mechanics are simple but strategic, so many random encounters that are different depending on who’s in your party.
