Mit dem neuen Unleashed 22 gibt es bei vielen Benutzern massive Probleme und der Support ist praktisch nicht existent. In der App kann ich keine Zeiten sekundengenau einstellen - es gibt zwar „tolle“ Vorgaben (1/91sec) aber was nutzt das? Bestellgrund war die „zusätzliche“ GPS-Funktionalität - im Vergleich mit dem PLUTO-Trigger. Ja ich kann dann wohl auch die Kamera komplett fernsteuern...aber das mit der Zeiteingabe ist ein KO-Punkt. I purchase primarily for focus stacking but have yet to be successful. There is no online support, no manuals or other info on what settings to use. When I try to use it and get a focus point established, the first thing that happens is it changes the focus so it is totally out of focus. You are basically on your own to figure things out. I tried contacting support but when I submit the form I get an error code. What a waste! I really did. I applied all upgrades, firmware etc but the device wouldn’t communicate with my camera. Apparently the camera was using either the wrong USB. setting, or the unleashed was updating, or the moon was in the wrong phase or something. Life is too short for all of this. I like taking photographs not fiddling about with nice to have accessories - if they work. Looking at the Foolography bulletin boards I’m far from being the only person with issues. This was a good idea, but like many kickstarter projects involving cameras, a complete failure for me. Hardware to the recycling bin, app to the delete bin. My support tickets have gone mostly unanswered, and when I do hear something I’ve been told repeatedly to try the same things I have already done. Things like, “Be sure your USB cable isn’t plugged in backwards” or “The flashing led sequence you have should not be happening.” None of these responses have been helpful, and most of them have not actually demonstrated an attempt to fix my problem. The Bluetooth device refuses to pair and I can’t seem to get any response or help. Obwohl das IPhone die Kamera findet, bekommt Unleashed keine Verbindung aufgebaut. Deshalb leider komplett unbrauchbar! ### 2/5 — Time elapsed switch to Grails *2025-07-26, version 3.2.0* When I start shooting time elapsed, it is always switching to Grails UI after a couple of seconds and the same happens when I switch to other Apps and switch back to Unleashed. And the exposure bracketing is not working as expected , I set 5 shots , but only 1 was shot and stop working without any indication. Could you keep updating the App, otherwise we spend money on an expensive remote trigger ### 2/5 — Doesn’t work with Sony 7R4 *2024-07-18, version 3.2.0* Unfortunately this doesn’t work as advertised with my Sony 7R4 camera. Specifically holy grail timelapse ramping - it won’t shift aperture. Without this feature it is just a very expensive remote release. I have tried numerous times to reach out to the developer for a fix but to no avail. Ist wie Weihnachten! ### 5/5 — Genial! Problemlose und intuitive SLR-Fernsteuerung *2021-06-16, version 1.3.7* Bin begeistert, endlich kann man auch bei ungünstigen Kamerapositionen (z.B ganz tief unten oder hoch oben auf dem Stativ, oder weiter weg, wenn man am Set Requisiten neu positioniert) bequem die Einstellungen verändern, auslösen, fertig. Die Time-lapse-Funktion ist auch selbsterklärend, in der aktuellen Version kann man das Intervall sekundengenau einstellen, die Gesamtdauer minutengenau, max. 24 Stunden sind möglich. Nach dem Auslösen wird ein sehr kleines Bild per Bluetooth an die App gesendet, man erkennt grob das Motiv und kann die Belichtung einschätzen. Das Bild könnte gerne eine etwas höhere Auflösung haben, evtl. auch alternativ ein Histogramm beinhalten… vielleicht beim nächsten Firmware-Update?! 🤓 Die App ist auf englisch, eine mehrsprachige Version dürfte bei den wenigen Vokabeln eigentlich kein Problem sein 🇩🇪🇳🇱🇯🇵🇪🇸 Falls es interessiert, ich habe eine Canon 7D, also nicht gerade das neueste Modell… ### 5/5 — Retired Engineer *2020-05-27, version 1.3.6* Love this app. Use it for geotagging while traveling. I came across the Unleashed App and acquired the N2 Module on their website. The experience with both The App and the Hardware is a game changing experience. Super fast connection and reactive. The product has proved so useful that I purchased a second unit for my backup camera.
