It loses two stars because usage is impossible on Google TVs. One star because it lacks "Leanback launcher icon." for my Google TV and has to be side load launched. Two stars because once the app is started it is impossible to select a vpn location as the screen lacks any gui prompts or any sign of where you are on the menus. You end up hitting buttons on controller randomly trying to get the right location by chance. ### 3/5 — Bring landscape mode back *2025-09-21, version 3.4.0* Portrait only mode is inconvenient with iPad. ### 4/5 — App Not Synced With Web Site *2025-07-30* Re-subscribed after letting my subscription lapse. Renewal offers were better on web site than on app. Me thinks app not updated as frequently. Also subscription took longer to process. I do not want a 1 year subscription. 10 euro per week for 3 weeks = 30€ on vacation is far too much. I have created support requests to investigate and resolve this but it clearly has fallen on deaf ears and I believe they just lost interest in the issue. Other times it doesn’t not work. While the support team have tried to look into this, the turn-around response time is slow and as part of their support while I am abroad, they have requested to view my screen during UK business hours which ends up being in the middle of the night. (Hulu was down for a bit but the support team is good at getting on things quickly) Run over 8 TV apps otherwise with no issue. Unlocator was recommended by a friend and gave good tails from the start. Easy to install, the off the shelf package worked ok, but was a bit clunky with chinas aggressive firewall One email to tech support and they replied with a few hours, a few more questions then they sent me a bespoke solution, tailored to my situation That installed instantly and connects just as quick I have discontinued the nord substriction and have a new best friend!
