I tried this app hoping for a compelling alternative to Unrot, but I was disappointed. The app’s core functionality felt very similar, yet it offered fewer features and a less refined experience. I didn’t find enough value or innovation to justify keeping it installed. Compared to other apps in this category, it feels unfinished and lacks the depth I was expecting. Unrot is more established.

The idea sounds more impressive than the actual app. I don’t think this is worth paying a monthly subscription for when there are already free workout trackers and built in screen time controls on phones. The whole concept of locking yourself out of your own apps also feels backwards to me. Bettering your life should come from your own discipline and self control, not from forcing yourself to do exercises just to use your phone. At first the concept seems motivating, but after using it, it starts to feel more frustrating and gimmicky than genuinely helpful long term.
