Then when I use her in a 1v1 I think oh okay they give us a second chance but nope. If you die as Medusa you lose the game! This is so confusing! Once you lose your hero your sidekicks are out too! ### 2/5 — Not at it’s full potential *2025-07-08* It’s a great digital adaptation of the board game and I commend the effort. But as some have some there are a few game breaking bugs which I appreciate that they are working on. However I feel the biggest problem is the lack of push notifications or badges for non live games. It’s getting super stale and in the real sets there are so many hero’s to choose from! PLEASE ATLEAST ADD VOL 2!!!!! ### 4/5 — Great Game Tiny Text *2025-01-27* A great game for sure. Really, really wanted this to be one of my go to digital boardgames, but the text is quite small even on a 15 pro max. Would have been good to either have outright larger text or somehow enable further zoom in on the cards. Granted you do get used to the cards with enough play, but still this takes many plays with the heroes on offer, and in that time the text is unreasonably tiny. ### 3/5 — Bello ma non trovi nessuno online *2025-01-20, version 1.2.1* Il gioco è fatto benissimo, nulla da dire se non che potrebbero aggiungere nuovi personaggi. Also it'd be nice if we got characters and boards from more sets, like Legends Vol. 2, and Houdini & The Genie. ### 3/5 — Good game with one major missing piece *2024-10-19* This game is a lot of fun to play and has a lot of tactical depth. However, it doesn’t have local pass and play so I cannot give it five stars. There is no realistic reason for why pass and play would not be included except corporate greed. Most board game apps have this as a basic feature at launch which makes its exclusion puzzling. Board games are made to be played with others and not including pass and play feels somewhat predatory and anti-consumer. **Developer response:** Thank you for your opinion! If you press the green checkbox at the end of your turn before bigfoots ability box is displayed, it will be stuck on your screen and you can’t click anything 2. It’s really tough to see which zone each fighter is on… why not display that info somewhere? ### 2/5 — Not so good *2024-05-08* It would be great if developer will add pass and play mode. Because this game is ideal for that and for duel on one iPad while trip. ### 5/5 — More heroes! *2024-04-03, version 1.2.0* I’m a die hard fan of unmatched and I have most of the sets in physical but don’t have who to play them with so his game is the best alternative for me, allowing me to play anywhere at any time my favorite tabletop game of all time, can’t wait to see more expansions and my favorite heroes added into the digital version, like tomoe gozen perhaps or Bloody Mary! A ladder kind of game would also be fun, to have somewhat of a competitive thing inside the game ### 3/5 — Would be a five star if it wasn’t for the freezing during online games. *2024-02-12* It’s a great little App but the constant glitching and freezing during online play is infuriating. Your constantly having to leave and return to try and get it to unfreeze. Can turn a 20min game into a 60min game. If that could be fixed I would be voting 5 stars as a fan of the game. Great music, gameplay, and UI. A few things to note for the developers: I would like to see features such as 2v2, but you can control both heros rather than just one hero with an AI on your team. The interactions and AI for the invisible man could also use improvements eg. If I am playing invisible man, the AI never moves my fog tokens when my cards allow it, and when Im playing against him, he hardly plays on/around his fog tokens. Little red AI feels a little “dumb” as well when playing against her. I’m surprised Restoration Games hasn’t pulled their product from ACRAM and completely redo this game with Dire Wolf or someone else more competent with testing. Every other game crashes, and sadly, the design team is clearly where the money goes but none into s/dets or qa. That is, on the road or where there is no Internet, you can only play in the basic game. I highly encourage you to give Unmatched: Digital Edition another chance! ### 1/5 — Super Buggy *2023-05-23* I love the physical game, so this is not a review of that. This app is incredibly buggy. I commend them for pushing patches out so quickly, but honestly it feels like we are going backwards. There are now more gameplay bugs than there were at launch. Medusa is barely playable because her versatile attacks can’t be used by her (only her Harpies). Alice frequently changes size for no reason or uses the wrong size ability (based on the mini shown). Sinbad’s journeys work sometimes but not others (cannot see a rhyme or reason when it works or not). Online gives you lots of options, but it is easy to get kicked out of a match, and once out, you cannot get back in. That’s tricky, but I hope they get that working sooner or later. Finally, I think they needed to launch with what the “Season Pass” will eventually bring. Four relatively simple heroes is a pretty bad experience considering we’ve already paid for the app. And those that go for the season pass already have access to some much stronger heroes (and depending on who you ask, possibly the absolute strongest hero) in the game. Edit: Thanks for responding devs, though honestly it just make me even less likely to play the game. First, I never said I enjoy Unmatched Digital. In fact, I hate it. Secondly, when I posted this a month ago, I *tried* to submit reports using the feedback tool, except after 20 tries or so, not a single one would successfully send. Downloaded patch just now, tried again, still cannot submit feedback. I can play the online portion (awful bugs permitting), but cannot submit feedback. It’s possible the developers are blocking it on purpose.
