### 2/5 — Loved the game until the update

*2026-08-23*

Been playing this daily for 1.5+ years now. Greatest idle/incremental game there is and zero ads. At least until the latest update ruined the ui. They switched the game from playing in landscape mode to portrait mode.

Now all the menus are zoomed in, clunky, and congested . You have to scroll through various menus now, when before everything was just a single tap away. I’m trying to enjoy it, but I just can’t anymore.

If they add an option to play in either portrait or landscape, I’ll bump my review back to 5 stars.

### 3/5 — Good potential

*2026-06-28*

It has good potential but I’m using iPhone pro and the font seems tiny. It’s like 2px font size. My eyes hurt after playing it for a few minutes and I cannot see anything when the phone is at a safe distance from my eyes (arms length). I have to hold the phone next to my eyes which will cause myopia or presbyopia when I get old

### 4/5 — UI

*2026-05-21, version 80.1.6*

The UI is just so small still.

### 5/5 — Actually F2P and FUN!

*2025-12-20, version 75.0.2*

I never write reviews… haven’t spent a cent and have had 40+ hours of screen time and enjoyment.

### 5/5 — A game made with love

*2025-12-03, version 71.2.3*

We don’t find a gem like this every day. Unnamed Space Idle is a product of love, very complex, full of features and challenges. Easy to start but hard to master. Cherry on the top, the dev(s) is just constant pushing updates.

Thank you so much for bringing such a great game into our phones

### 5/5 — FTL meets NGU Idle

*2025-11-23*

Excellent game, took me a while to really sink my teeth into it but now that I’m a little ways in all the systems click together so well. It has the addictive quality of NGU as systems keep opening and intersecting with each other. Highly recommend!!

### 5/5 — Best one yet

*2025-11-18, version 71.1.7*

Tbh i’ve played many idle games. They get boring after a while - not this one. It is idle but there is strategy and management element to it, not just mindlesly clicking or waiting. It can be completely free, i bought something only to support makers. Even „premium” coins you unlock by achievements and they are really enough to slowly unlock automation objects. I’ve been playing for months. I never write game reviews, but this game deserves it

### 5/5 — Solid incremental game!

*2025-10-18, version 70.1.3*

It looks complex but the learning curve isn’t bad at all, this is a really well-crafted incremental game for being free! I’m totally hooked

### 5/5 — Beast support beast game

*2025-09-14, version 63.4.6*

Not a lot to say the game is really good and the dev support it constantly try to perfection it and adding new content. Good work man!

### 5/5 — This is the best Idle game you can get on a phone.

*2025-08-11*

Like the title says, it continues to go deeper and deeper and deeper adding new systems to manage. I’m over a year into this game and still not done. There’s so much strategy involved, it itches my brain in the best way. And the best part, NO ADS. But I love the game so much I tipped the dev anyways. If you like long-term ideals, this one is for you.

### 5/5 — Really Fun!

*2025-07-19, version 63.3.1*

Great game with so much depth.

There’s weeks of fun here, and no pressure to buy anything.

It’s one of those games where it’s obvious so much love and care has been put into it. So you buy extras to help support it.

Don’t be afraid of the UI, it’s not as complicated as it looks, and it’s really fun!

### 5/5 — Проблемы

*2025-07-13*

После некоторого времени игры, не через wifi, а по мобильной сети. Игра зависает

### 5/5 — Le meilleur jeu idle

*2025-07-07, version 63.2.2*

Bravo !

### 5/5 — Great game, no drawbacks in sight.

*2025-07-01, version 63.1.0*

Outstanding implementation, clearly defined what does what. Plenty to do and track. No intrusive ads. No needless monetization. If you like idle games, give it a try.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Removed Landscape Mode 0/5 Stars

*2026-08-27*

The sheer lack of developmental foresight that this would upset players... is there any reason you can't just have two whole versions of the app? One being the direct desktop port and the other this portrait mode nonsense? Fork a direct port called SpaceIdleClassic and this other portrait nonsense. Apparently for "reasons" we can't just have the classic ui ever again on mobile. Cross-platform play via the cloud is amazing. Now it's like two completely different games with completely different menus layouts every thing. We have no direct feedback outside of discord, which is stupid, discord is a garbage platform.

### 1/5 — Give me a refund

*2026-08-22*

You ruined the entire game format and i would like a refund I didn’t agree to support this game just for you to make it unplayable and completely change the entire premise of the game and its visuals it’s ugly it’s hideous and I would like my money back because this is terrible and if possible I will make a lawsuit happen the same thing happens with call of duty and they defaulted on 2 million copy’s I’m sure I’ll get my money back

### 1/5 — Was great on iPad, now horrible UI update

*2026-08-22*

I will give this a five star rating when they add a simple option to allow us to change the UI between portrait and landscape mode on mobile devices. The game previously always played in landscape mode which made it difficult on the phone but perfect on iPads. Now we only have portrait mode on mobile. They did not give us the option to choose, a huge mistake. For me this game is now unplayable, and after investing over a year of time into this. Such a bummer. For now, I’ll set it aside and wait for an update that fixes this. Once fixed it will definitely go back to a five star rating.

Hopefully in the future, the dev will have the foresight to give us options not remove them.

### 1/5 — cannot open on ipadOS 14.8.1

*2026-03-09, version 75.1.3*

Just crash. Please update to fix this problem.

### 1/5 — Garbage

*2025-08-01, version 63.4.2*

I love how so many of these “game developers” hoot up these games and don’t even have the skill to include any audio what so ever. ABSOLUTELY NO SOUND. Get a life you

### 1/5 — Kp

*2025-07-22, version 63.3.1*

Ob es gut ist hat bestimmt Potenzial für mich ist aber alles viel zu klein und mit meinen dicken Wurstfingern komme ich über all drauf
Mein zeige Finger berührt 6 Felder als Beispiel

### 1/5 — Idiots!

*2025-05-25, version 62.2.0*

You can’t read it on a cell phone stupid!

### 1/5 — Utter garbage

*2025-02-21, version 61.1.4*

First thing it says to do is upgrade to use more cores, but gives absolutely no indication on how to do this. Uninstalled in under 30 sec. Total rubbish

### 1/5 — UI is basically unusable

*2024-11-28, version 60.1.1*

As other reviews have mentioned, the UI is unbelievably poor for a "mobile game" (it's obviously designed with other platforms in mind), and the font is so small a lot of the text is nearly unreadable (iPhone 13 Pro). This makes the game unplayable, so it has to get a 1 star review.

### 1/5 — Tiny fonts

*2024-10-14, version 54.1.9*

On an iPhone mini, it’s so difficult to read, especially the synth portion.

Dark red on black, can’t see what the text is.

Game stuck on landscape mode. I’d prefer portrait mode, and all the details and buttons scroll up, leaving the space battles more observable.

Right now the game is not playable for me, too small. So much blank space on the text and buttons side.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — macOS support please

*2026-08-27*

Awesome game but please add macOS native support 🙏

### 5/5 — UI updated!

*2026-08-25*

I’ll start off by saying you can safely ignore any negative reviews this game has. All of them were related to the UI which received an incredible overhaul. This is hands-down one of the best idle games you can play. Right up there with Melvor and Realm Grinder. And as I know it’s a concern for everyone, but there are no ads at all, and IAPs are completely optional and contain nothing you can’t easily obtain through just playing. There is just so much to this game, calling it just an idle game is such a disservice. Just do yourself a favor, download it, Marvel at the new UI and prepare to be entertained for years to come.

### 5/5 — Bring back landscape

*2026-08-22*

As cool as the portrait mode is i dont get why im not allowed to keep playing the way i have been the entire time, im actually really upset about the change i feel like i cant see anything, everything is so big, its been moved, reactor overdrives dont make sense placement wise and it seems way to arcadey, just leave in both options taking away landscape after playing with it for so long is so miserably jarring

### 5/5 — If you like incremental games, this is the game you’ve been searching for. Genre GOAT.

*2026-08-20*

No ads (like NO ads AT ALL). Awesome slow-burn incremental game with plenty of manageable complexity to provide some time-killer fun over months and years. Active dev who regularly adds quality of life. All I wanted from a mobile game. 11/10.

### 5/5 — The Dev Understands

*2026-07-13*

You like number going up? You are going to be drowning in different interconnected systems that all make number go up along with specific challenge modes that give development bonuses to the main game. Prestige modes to reset your run and do better. No ads, I discovered it was *possible* to give the dev money several hours after I started by accident. This is just all around great.

### 5/5 — Tragically underrated.

*2026-04-10, version 75.1.3*

One of the best idle games I’ve played on any platform ever. It’s so good. The game keeps changing and adding new mechanics. The developer is consistently pushing updates that genuinely improve the game. I love it.

### 5/5 — One of the best idle games

*2026-03-04*

Definitely one of my favorite games. If you like idle games with constantly increasing depth and complexity (but presented bit by bit so as to be easily consumable) and a good amount of daily playability then this is for you.

I’ve been playing for probably a year or so? Just finally hit end of content and can’t wait for more.

My only regret is that I can’t easily restart the game from zero to experience the whole thing again while not losing my current game.

### 5/5 — Good game!

*2026-02-07, version 75.1.3*

Consumed about six months of my life, great gameplay and no pressure to spend more

### 5/5 — You are a genius

*2025-12-24, version 75.0.4*

I pray that someone invests in you. The gameplay types you have explored are inspiring and I (selfishly) hope that you consider taking part in something more fantasy orientated. Your ideas are great and they should be converted to visuals for the public.

### 5/5 — This game is a work of genius.

*2025-12-21*

It's a slow start, but the day or two it takes to learn and get rolling pays back one of the best games you've ever played.
